We wouldn't let anyone else work on our heating or a/c. If it can be repaired, Rich will repair it…read moreand he will tell you the truth in addition to knowing all anyone needs to know about the subject, based on many years experience. We had a well-known company come in to check out one of our a/c units. My father who was 92 at the time and knew a lot about these things, suggested it might be the capacitor. The guy said "no, you need a whole new unit" and priced it at $2700 and said it would last a few years. I deferred him and called a friend whose brother was a commercial heating and a/c man who found it was the capacitor and replaced it for $131.00. That was a blessing but he doesn't do residential so we were in a quandary. I turned in the other company to Angie's List and told all my clients what they'd done. Then we met Rich Simpson and have never looked back. He could easily have told us some story when our compressor went out but he just found the problem and sorted it in no time at low expense. He also helped a client whose husband was dying of cancer and was told by someone she called in she needed a new water heater and her system totally needed updating and it was going to be a few Thousand!!!!!! She was in a panic and not used to dealing with these things. I told her to call Rich and she didn't need to change anything; it just needed a small repair. If you want to be handled with integrity, call Rich. All the others that I know of, supplement their paychecks by selling you components or VERY expensive equipment you may or may not need and many of us wouldn't be the wiser. Long may Rich live and remain in business!!!!!!!!!

I was originally contacted within 24 hours for a free estimate after making contact. I received the estimate in 24 hours. I did estimates with 3 other competitors. I decided to go with Flowmasters as they were the most detailed in the estimate process, did not try to upsell me, honored my opinion as to location, and was what I considered to be fairly priced (and the cheapest of the 3 other "franchise companies". After I accepted the quote - was contacted almost immediately for scheduling. Job took the amount of time stated. The pipes are either aesthetically pleasing or hidden. Highly recommend Flowmasters. Also local business so 6 out of 5 stars.

Our unit was blowing cold air most all winter and we had our company look at it. They told us…read moreeverything was fine, but we knew something was wrong. We had them look a 2nd time and they found it was leaking freon. They told us our best bet was to purchase a brand new unit because the repair was going to cost $6,000+. Josh from House of Service came out to give us a 2nd opinion. He asked how old the unit was and then called the manufacture himself. Turns out it was still covered under warranty and we only had to pay for labor and freon. He saved us thousands! He was very honest and they did a great job on the install. I cannot recommend these people strongly enough.

Outstanding service for my families central AC unit. For years we have been having AC techs come…read moreout to our home and clean and refill the central AC unit every summer. Our house barely stayed cool over the long summer months and ran all the time (day and night). After having an insane electric bill for 4 months last year we decided to give House of Service a try since they were a local Heating and Air company. Not only did the tech clean our system and make sure it was running properly. He identified a problem in our blower unit that had been causing issues for years - condensation from exposed pipes. He fixed the problem with condensation by covering and sealing up our pipes in our blower unit and now my central air unit is working better than it has for the past 10 years. Great service, honest and very knowledgeable service techs make this a great company to fix any HVAC problem. My family and friends will defiantly be coming back.
