Tried this place for the first time yesterday - the L2 (Heated) Vinyasa Yoga was AWESOME and for someone who does not regularly practice yoga, it provided a fantastic challenge without any sort of embarrassment that I was a bit wobbly compared to other seasoned yogis. There's a pretty good Newbies deal for $49 for unlimited yoga classes for 30 days (as opposed to $20 per session for non-members)
Bring your own mat or be prepared to pay $1 per session, though. Also bring a towel (I think they charge you for that, too). Disappointed to hear that they do charge for things like these, but I enjoyed the class so much that it was the only negative thing about the PowerLiving experience.
If you haven't tried Heated Yoga (eg Bikram) because like me, you were a little bit wary of failing miserably, Heated Vinyasa is DEFINITELY something to try! It's only headed to 32 degrees rather than Bikram's 40 degrees of death, and the humidity is much lower as well. The class atmosphere is also one where you feel totally comfortable doing things at your own pace - even if that means pausing, grabbing water, towelling off (believe me, you'll NEED that towel!!) and then getting back to it. Highly recommended, they're doing a great job. read more
