I truly enjoy the atmosphere. The people always greet me with a smile. There is a lot of energy when you first walk in the building . They have a track and gymnastics on the second floor but I have not went up there. The weight lifting area in massive with equipment that I'm able to use with my wheelchair. There is a lot of space to move around. I love this gym and the great staff and members. What a joy it is to be a member of this great establishment. If you are new to the area let this be your first stop. read more

What an amazing gym. I've been coming here off and on while visiting family for years and it's by far the best gym I've ever tried. It's got a separate women's gym, cycling room, two rooms for classes (like yoga studios), an elite leg room, pickle ball, a full track upstairs and then a whole regular gym. Some cushions were ripped and the entire gym smells like a gym once you open the door. It's overpowering.

Nice place- Hasn't been super packed the times I have gone. If you have time, it's nice to relax in the sauna or steam room because they have both of those which is a little unusual these days for gym. I think a daily pass is like $15- but a week is under $30 I think. So If you're going to more than one day, you might wanna get a week. read more

If Fox News is your jam - this is the place for you. I love the classes (and would give them 5 stars), but the machines in front of the TV banks seem older and 7 of the 16 TVs are on Fox News. I don't go to the gym to watch Fox News. I love the spin classes but come on - put on a cooking pr home show. Even try ESPN 2. Anything but constant news. It was even on in the ladies changing room. read more

Great local gym, it used to be Gold's but recently switched to PH, same cool people, great equipment that is well maintained. They have everything you need, even some high end strongman/powerlifting stuff that costs 5X normal cheap crap cost. Not sure who this assclown who posted it is dirty but it is as clean as a gym should be, ranging from maintainers to semi pro athletes pushing themselves, sweating, straining and doing the real things that make a differences. Great gym, very clean, and the staff are great. Their smoothie bar is also really good. I love the women's workout area.

I have been a member of this gym since it was Gold's in their old location. They are consistently well staffed and they work hard to meet the needs of all of their clients. The group classes and power training are phenomenal. The gym is also clean and we'll maintained. So disregard the review from that other guy! read more

I can tell you that some of the staff is genuinely pleasant and wants to do a good job. Those individuals are hindered, in that; they don't get proper training on how to clean and maintain the upkeep of the gym. To their defense; most are between the ages of 17 and 22 so they don't care much about cleaning anything. There's a misnomer that flys around about gyms being a dirty place. That is false, a Gym doesn't HAVE to be a dirty place, but this one is. It has been this way for most of the 3 years that I was there. I made every attempt to bring all issues of upkeep and cleanliness to the attention of management and it was taken with less than a grain of salt. So now, I'll let people who pay good money know; I'd give a 3/10 for upkeep, cleanliness and general overall presentation of the gym. Needs a major overhaul from top to bottom. Staff included. I'll let people judge for themselves. Just my 2 cents. Do better guys, the Powerhouse name deserves it. read more
