He received many compliments when we went shopping together. He helped me find some amazing outfits. I think I might start getting compliments too!
To give more detail, before the appointment, Zuri sent me a brief questionnaire so he would have an idea of who I was and what I was looking to accomplish. He asked me what my budget was. On the day of the appointment, he arrived at my home and reviewed all of the clothes I have. He immediately identified areas for improvement, and explained why. He is very enthusiastic and wanted to go shopping right away. He asked if I had time to shop. I did, so we went shopping at several stores. He's fast. He quickly found choices which he asked me about. Everything looked stylish. He wanted to find clothes which I loved. Some I did and some I didn't, but it all looked good. I did notice that most of the sales associates complimented him on what he was wearing. We went to three stores. He wanted to go to more stores but I was getting pretty tired. At the end of the shopping session, I had a nice dress shirt and vest, a trendy looking leather jacket, four casual but stylish shirts, two pairs of stylish jeans, two pairs of nice looking shoes, and a belt. Nothing that he showed me would have been clothes I would have picked out on my own, but I love what he found. The cost of the clothes was more than I'd typically pay, but having been asked what my budget was, I was prepared. I provided a price range and as a result, the final cost of the clothes did not come as a surprise.
In addition to finding fashionable clothes, he helped me find clothes that fit. I learned that the size I had been buying for some clothes was not my size. Some clothes which he found did not fit. He explained to me how to have clothes altered, where to go to add notches to belts, and what reversible belts are. He also explained how to wear clothes, the rolling up of shirt sleeves, and the basics of mixing and matching.
Until now, I've worn clothes which are very comfortable, but to be honest, somewhat dumpy looking or unflattering. Zuri has shown me that I can dress comfortably and look good at the same time. He also found clothes which seemed "too good" to wear. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I found it helpful when he selected fancier clothes I never would have thought I could wear, and said which ones I looked good in.
He described his background, which I am having a hard time remembering, but among other things, he mentioned having training in France. He has plans to design his own fashion, and described some of the research he has done. This guy is going places. I think he's just now getting started with his fashion services, and his prices for his services are remarkably reasonable. Now is the time to get help from him, before he gets too well known.
I hope this review is helpful to others. I consider Zuri to be my secret weapon when it comes to appearing like I know about fashion. I will definitely be shopping with him again soon!
