One more happy customer: I had a GFCI outlet go out in my kitchen (there goes the toaster and microwave!). Posted the project on Yelp and Will responded the same day, came out later that day, and got it replaced. Done and done. I had put all the info (project, address, etc) on Yelp, but all the other companies that responded wanted to "schedule a consultation" (for what?). Will was the *only* one who just responded immediately with a reasonable quote. At the house, Will was quick, polite, and seemed like a nice guy. Now I'm thinking of any other long-overdue electrical projects that I can have him take a look at. read more

Will and his team are the real deal. We had a puzzling electrical issue - he spent two or three hours here debugging what he could. (We have an old house.) When he couldn't fix it in the moment, he promised to come back the next week to fix it - and he was dogged about getting it scheduled quickly! Didn't charge us that day either. A small job, remove a fluorescent ceiling fixture, install new LED fixture. This was the only respondent out of 6 who gave a very reasonable quote. Once contacted and hired, they promptly sent an invoice, confirmed appointment time, followed up to assure we were still available and called prior to arrival. We appreciated the fact that the electrician kept in touch so we did not have to wait through the entire arrival window not knowing when he would actually arrive. He completed the necessary work and removed the LED shipping box and old fixture. He was very professional and courteous, satisfactorily answered our few questions and worked expeditiously to finish the job. We appreciated the fast response and politeness, but they did not tell us ahead of time that they are "only electricians" and that they don't complete an electrical installation by fixing dry wall, painting, etc. We found this out after they began the project (which we submitted under "handyman" on Yelp). There were large holes left in the drywall. It then cost us extra to have these "patched, but the end result dry wall and painting was very poorly done, and they didn't use drop clothes or anything, so paint got on the floor. They should've told us that they don't complete installations with dry wall and paint: We now need to hire another handyman/contractor to come in and fix it. read more

I see why Power Will's has such great reviews. The communication was fantastic, particularly given that it was a holiday weekend. While I understand sometimes jobs may be cheaper than others, I personally really appreciate their fixed hourly pricing, as you know you aren't getting ripped off. The tech who serviced our house was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He also was able to tell us what should be done/we could wait on/we could do ourselves as ways to really make sure we weren't paying any more than we absolutely needed to. They removed the old lights, created new holes in the ceiling for the new lights, wired them, installed new switches and repaired the drywall when holes were required for installation. We found a light that was close but not quite the same, and Will managed to install it, amazingly without causing any drywall damage.
