Some of the classes offered are property management class, Fair housing class, NJ & NY real estate licensing class as well as tutoring for the courses and networking opportunities with professionals who are currently practicing in the field. The staff and instructor are pretty great in how accommodating they can be. Noelle who is the office manager makes the registration and initial process completely painless. You can ask so many questions and always expect to see a smile on Noelle's face. Tim who is one of the instructor is quite amazing too. He is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the field of real estate. He keeps the classes pretty entertaining and easy to follow. Location is fairly easy to find and, even has a small parking lot in the front. If the front lot is full, there is another lot (larger) which you can park in and walk over a half block to get to class.

I agreed to pay full price, including a rush fee, though they had the advantage of already having (their words) a "very thick file" on my property. They failed failed to show up when promised, failed to communicate their delay, and when questioned Steve Koestner was dismissive and condescending about the matter. He was unable to commit to a date when the (already delayed) work could start, and had an issue with doing the work to the spec originally agreed upon (septic features marked, as per originally communicated needs). They wasted my time, took no accountability, caused needless delays to my project, and were rudely dismissive going so far as to hang up the phone when Steve acknowledged he would not be able to do the job after all.

Note that they do not provide any additional service if you select the "flat fee listing service". They simply put your listing on the MLS. Contract negotiations escrow advice are all on your own. Pros: - They are licensed in many different states, so most likely if you want to sell your property by yourself, they most likely are licensed in the state - They do have a website portal that people can log into and see a whole list of all the realtor documents and templates for buying and selling transactions. This did proved to be very helpful. However, I do warn that some of the documents are complicated and if you don't have experience, it might be a little hard to read. - The administrative staff is fairly responsive Monday through Friday 9 to 5 Eastern standard time. Cons: - There is a hidden fine print in the contract: in addition to the flat fee that you pay to list, when you sell your house, this company also charges a 0.1% in commissions. This is not advertised anywhere on their website. Depending how expensive your property is, that 0.1% can be quite a significant amount. - Some of the administrative staff are nice, some of them are impatient, and can be rude. Service is inconsistent. - The forms in the portal are not the most updated versions, many are many years old, and of a much older version. Not sure if the old version is consistent with the current laws. - When you list, you are to fill out this long form containing information about the property on their website, yet the form does not match with the fields in the MLS. This makes it confusing. We have had quite a few experience selling properties and thus we opted for the flat fee listing, for most people the process is a bit complicated to handle on their own.

The communication with Continental was always wonderful. I typically communicated through the online portal, and they responded immediately whenever I sent a message. Their team was consistently responsive and supportive. Overall, I highly recommend this service! It's an unbeatable value for anyone looking to sell their home while retaining more of their hard-earned equity. If you're comfortable managing some aspects of the sale yourself, you won't find a better, more cost-effective option!
