When the generator arrived, it was easy to set up the site visit to begin work. Dustin and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently and got the unit installed with no problems. Dustin walked me through that process as well. And when the gas company (finally) made the necessary connections, Dustin was back out to finish the job. Again, with great explanations and a step-by-step tutorial. When they finished, my yard looked even better than before they began the work. Masters Generator is tops in my book. It was a comfort to work with just one lead electrician. Dustin was knowledgeable, professional, and welcomed all my rookie questions. I took a chance on Master of Generators and Electrical Service and am happy that I did. I almost canceled because it was nearly 4 pm, and I hadn't heard from them since 2 pm. I wasn't confident Christian could finish the work before dinner time. When I called to cancel, a professional lady offered to get Christian and Jeremy's ETA, which went well. They apologized for running behind schedule. However, I am not off the hook because I should have believed MGES when they stated that the electricians would "arrive between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm," which I now know, in hindsight, they would have. Christian and Jeremy are fantastic electricians. They came through the door dripping with experience, confidence, and wonderful personalities. One worked on the hallway light fixture while the other tackled the dining room. When Christian put up the flush mount fixture for the hallway within 10 minutes, he joined Jeremy to help assemble a complex chandelier. That chandelier encompassed several bars to connect to eight lights. Despite my initial concerns, the task was completed in a remarkably short time, with the total service time being under an hour. Christian and Jeremy not only met but exceeded my expectations. Their service was impeccable, and the price I paid for such efficient and high-quality work was more than reasonable. Being a pet mom I always worry about my little fur babies, and seeing them panting and looking for relief from the heat only added to my stress! I was first pleasantly surprised to see that this company opened as early as 7 AM! I then read the reviews, as most of us that use this site do! I said a prayer and went ahead and gave Porter HVAC a call, and boy was it a blessing that I did! Mr. Porter answered the early 7AM call and was extremely professional and polite. He told me that because of my location which is in metro Atlanta, he could stop by my house within a couple of hours. That immediately brought a smile to my face! Then something happened that I didn't think was possible anymore........he did exactly what he said that he would do, he was in my driveway within 2 hours! Not only did he show up like he said that he would, he was wearing a face mask for safety during this pandemic. Within less than two minutes of me showing him my set up, he was able to diagnose the issue. He was very courteous and even broke the news to me slowly that my unit would need to be replaced sooner than later..... *inserts crying face.* To be fair, the unit was almost 30 years old! I was really put at ease when I saw that Mr. Porter wasn't pushy about trying to make me buy an a/c unit and in fact, he gave me an option that would cool me down for the time being. My pups and I were once again in the a/c and there was no question in my mind as to whether or not I would let Mr. Porter come back out to replace the unit. When Mr. Porter came back out to replace the unit, he once again showed up when he said that he would. Mr. Porter also provided updates during the repair, he stayed within the timeframe that he gave me when we scheduled the repair, the removal and installation of the inside and outside units was great, and he cleaned up after the work was completed. This most recent visit was just as impressive. He came out first thing Monday morning and helped trace down a strange voltage issue that kept our heat from coming on. Instead of pushing unnecessary replacements like I'm sure some companies would have, he carefully isolated the problem to a loose plug on the furnace control board. Here's a nice detailed review for the HVAC hunter:…read more This was a 5 month ordeal that these folks fixed in a matter of days: We got a new heat pump through our warranty company back in Sept 2014. The original contractor that installed our Air Handler were atrocious. The unit was not installed right, building codes were violated, parts were not replaced, vents were restricted, and the emergency heat didn't work, fuses were blowing on a weekly basis. After 2 other companies failed to come fix our unit, our warranty company assigned Anglin air to come out. I got my first phone call the same day they were assigned to the case. The dispatcher, Judy, did an A1 job throughout the entire process. From scheduling, to updates, to detailing what needed to be done, I was informed the whole way through. Not to mention, I was in Utah for 4 days and these guys did the ENTIRE job before I got home. I trusted them to get in and out, sight unseen to me, and just relying on my home security system to make sure there was no funny business. Came home on the fourth day and went to our attic to inspect the work. They did a compete makeover. Changing supports, adding new duct work, replacing the duct tape I had to use to keep the thing in one piece with actual concrete plaster-like material. Turned on the air and swoosh all systems are on full blast. I even noticed some insulation reinforcement on our freon lines which were not there before. I'm no HVAC expert but I seriously wish I had these guys the first time around. This ordeal was a complete nightmare until Anglin sent their troops in.
