Again, for the third time, I employed Powell Window Cleaning and more to perform their service at my residence. Over 3 to 4 months, my windows become dirty from blowing wind and dust. Powell does an EXCELLENT job and I consider them the best in the business. I schedule the service on-line and they promptly send a confirmation email as to the date and time. Their crew shows up on time and ready to work. They are dressed appropriately and know what they are doing. This particular crew are like artists with a squeege. If I could give zero stars, I would. To begin with when I called and spoke to the original person, I had explained that I needed my window tracks done, as construction had been done, and they were really dirty. I agreed to do the windows as well because they were supposed to be giving me a deal for everything. Then, when the technicians arrived, they did not clean the window tracks and said that they could not clean them, and that it was not their job. They were very rude and unprofessional. I tried to call the company while they were here to get everything squared away, but they didn't answer. I also asked the technicians to call and they said that they weren't going to because it was a Saturday. They ended up leaving after being rude to me multiple times. In discussing this with the company, they demanded full payment, and said that they didn't have notes for the tracks to be done. They took no responsibility for the actions of their employees. Then to make it even worse, I noticed that they broke my window. When I reached out to let them know that they broke my window, They were very rude and unprofessional and insisted that their guys did not break it and even claimed that the guys let us know which is 100% a lie. I'm not sure how they could possibly "know" that their guys didn't break the window when it seems like a situation of one word versus the other. I obviously didn't break my window purposely right after they left. And ironically enough, after I told them that they broke the window, then all of a sudden they were willing to close out my account and say that I didn't owe anything. But of course are not willing to pay for my broken window. So not not only did I not get the job done the way that it was supposed to get done, but I have a broken window that I have to pay $750 to fix. read more

I bought a home in August of last year, got the exterior painted, and finally got around to calling someone - Powell Window Cleaning - to clean the windows (including vault height windows), as well as the window screens that had been on for who knows how long. Scheduling was a breeze with Caden who was super friendly and accommodating. His team showed up timely and were very professional. What a difference! I seriously couldn't believe the screens' change of color! I knew they were dirty but I thought they were probably still a shade of dark underneath that dirt. But no! They got so clean and are now actually a lovely light shade of off-white! Who knew? The screens were taken off and cleaned. Then the windows, interior and exterior, were cleaned. The inside of the house looks much brighter, feels so much cleaner, and I can actually see the lovely swaying of some of the plants in my yard! I wish I would have called Powell Window Cleaning sooner. I also asked about their light install service because now that the house exterior looks so good, I plan on having them return to string some waterproof LED lights in the yard. Wow, this company is a piece of work!!! Purchased (45) strings of white Christmas lights, (4) strings of multi-colored lights, (64)ft of commercial garland and (4) 4ft wreaths from them. Our HOA paid them to install, take down, and store the lights and wreaths for the 2018 Christmas season. Of course we paid for storage. Everything went fine. 2019 is were things went very wrong. I asked Caden (owner of Powell Windows) to install the lights and wreaths that they were storing the week before or the week after Thanksgiving, and let me know the date of install, so I can oversee the install and make sure everything goes in its proper place. So, first week of November rolls around and I drive by the entrance to the community and I see Caden's crew out installing the decor. I am not too happy about this since he never called to tell me the date and we have strict restrictions from our Master Association when Holiday Lights can go up. But what makes me more upset is I notice the decorations are not the ones we purchased. They have installed 3ft wreaths vice 4ft wreaths. So, I tell the crew to take the decor down and bring back the stuff our HOA paid for the previous year and install our decorations. I asked if they have the decor labeled in their storage facility, and the guy tells me that nothing is labeled and he thought it was our stuff. Oh boy!!! I call Caden and ask if he can make sure to install the decor we own during the timeframe I requested. He assures me he is sorry and will install the correct stuff. I asked him to let me know the date of install and to call me when his crew was onsite. He assures me he will. I drive by on another random day and see the crew installing the Christmas decor. I stop again and tell them the wreaths need to be centered on the gate and the garland is installed in the wrong place. I asked why they installed the garland where they did, and the guy tells me that he did not know where to put it, so he just put it there. I asked why he did not call me to confirm placement and he said he was never told to. I now notice that the wreaths and garland they have put up looks very beat up. I ask the guy if this stuff looks one year old and he says,"No, it looks much older." Now I am pissed, because I think they have now given my decor to another community or kept it for themselves and given me some 5 year old decor. I tell the guy there to take the decor down, since the wreaths are not centered and the garland is installed in the wrong place. I also asked him why the wreaths that were not installed yet were laying directly on the rocks and not on moving blankets or something else to protect the fragile bulbs. He said the company does not provide anything like that. I call Caden and I am very upset at this point. He did not call when his crew was onsite twice now. I ask him where our decorations are and he says those are our decorations. I explain to him that those cannot be our decorations, because our decor is only one year old and there are sooo many scratched and broken bulbs on the wreaths and garland. I stated that I purchased the decor from you, you installed it, you uninstalled it, you stored it and now have re-installed. In essence you have had positive control of the decor since purchase, so either this is not my decor or you have damaged it during storage or during re-install. I honestly don't know what to think at this point since they tried to install someone else's stuff during their first visit. I asked what the resolution was and he said he could try to get a couple of new bulbs from the vendor. I said these need more than a couple, I counted at least 30 damaged bulbs. I told him he should repair the decor to a state of one year of use (like new) or replace the decor with new decor since no one outside his company has touched the decorations. He refused. I also told him that he should not be using indoor 2 prong extension cords outside because they may cause shock or fire since they are not grounded. So, the company was fired and they held our Christmas decor hostage. What I mean is, we had to hire an attorney to get Powell windows to return our decor to us since they would not do so willingly. Our management company asked many times for the to return of the decor. So, they waited until after Christmas to return the stuff and only when our attorney got involved did Powell Windows comply. He also only returned 40 of the 49 strands of lights. Last note, the management company we use said when they did return the wreaths and garland that it was crammed into beaten and battered boxes that were virtually falling apart, so that tells me they have little to no pride in what they do and our Christmas items were probably damaged by them during install and storage. I can't imagine they clean windows any better. read more
