Their prompt and efficient problem-solving abilities along with their professionalism and kindness stood out to me. It took over 2 months but it was worth it. The apartment was completely renovated and even had new carpet. I had one minor issue for the move in checklist and it was remedied by maintenance within 2 days. Possibly more important -- this complex is very, very dog friendly. From the women in the office (Brianne, Amy and Deann) to every neighbor I have met -- they are all so nice to my dog and to me. This is a friendly place. I loved the layout of this apartment and that's why I chose it. I had no idea all of the other things here I would love. I was selling a house and worried about apartment living -- now I wonder what took me so long. I have not rented for many years, and this life is way better than I remember. I have to give Casto credit-- this place is well taken care of, and they have hired an exceptional staff here.

Warning: If you're considering living here, read this carefully…read more My hubby and I have lived in this apartment for over 2 years we were some of the first tenants to move in, and trust us, we've seen and heard it all. This place has many issues. Elevators: If you plan to live on the second or third floor, be prepared for constant elevator issues. They shut down every couple of months, making your daily life a nightmare, especially if you have groceries, pets, or mobility issues. Balcony: The balcony wood is warping and wobbly, with screws sticking out that can cut your feet. The wood isn't sealed, which only worsens the warping and causes poor drainage. As a result, the units below have experienced water damage from leaks that originate from this balcony. Leaks and Water Damage: We've experienced leaks in the closet and laundry wall, with water pouring from everywhere drywall wasn't even fully replaced after the damage. Buckets had to be placed under the dryer vent to catch water, which also damaged our dryer and wiring water was literally leaking out of the bottom. Floors and Doors: Some floors are peeling up in spots. The doors to the laundry area fell off their tracks they were fixed once, but not properly. Just a few days after being repaired, I pulled the door open and it fell off the hinge again, almost hitting me in the head. Air Conditioning & Windows: The A/C broke in the middle of summer, forcing us to pack up and stay elsewhere with our dogs. The windows are wonky so they close weird, the wall is separating where the window and wall meet, mold has started to grow in the seams. The maintenance just caulked over it without addressing the underlying water damage. We asked multiple time if we could get a mold test done and they always ignored that message. Communication & Maintenance: Communication is terrible. They ignore messages or you wait days to hear back. Maintenance staff are friendly but clueless. We had a leak under the sink a month after moving in, and the maintenance guy couldn't find or fix it, insisting everything was fine until I pointed out the exact leak. Walls & Fixtures: Walls are very thin, and the paint is matte So even water leaves a mark. Cabinet bottoms aren't secured properly they pop off easily, and the same goes for wall trim pieces. So watch your toes. Management & Building Quality: We've asked multiple times to speak to a regional manager or higher-up, but our messages go ignored. This building was clearly built quickly and cheaply, and it shows. It's been a constant series of fixes and frustrations. Summary: We can't wait to move out in a couple of months. This place is poorly built, poorly maintained, and the management is unresponsive. I'm so over living here so I don't care anymore. I wrote a review before and management asked me to take it down but I'm not going to this time, people need to know the truth. I'm being completely open and honest And if any higher-ups want to reach out to us, please do. We've tried asking four separate times and received no response. I hope that other tenants are treated better and don't have the same issues, but ik they do because my friend also lives here. If you're willing to spend $1250 plus to live in a crappy build apartment then go ahead!! But you were warned. Update!!! they were gonna take $200 off our rent for the damages from the mass leak in our laundry vent and it's been 2 months we moved and haven't seen a dime Because it's been "processing" the check.

I'll give you a few examples below. Very small things like loud neighbors, free coffee machine being empty are easily over looked as this is common in some apartment complexes but are here non the less. They stated at our walk though that it was a "smart community" i believe they said it was either Polaris' first or only community of that type. This is infact untrue. The locks are keyed, and the AC units are analog as well. We cannot find any "smart" tech here besides the two Tesla chargers and the lockers for delivery. Getting maintenance to come help is an issue now. We have put in an order for our tub months ago and cannot get any help, other than them coming to take photos. The faucet in our sink isnt properly screwed in so it goes unscrewed each time we turn from one side of the sink to the other. It needs a washer to avoid this but they will just come tighten it each time leaving the same problem. The pool isnt cleaned as often as it used to be as most of the time it will have things floating around or a bit of stuff at the bottom you step on. The gym isnt stocked with the extra times they promise i.e. towels and water. Packages here go missing about every other month, despite having spart lockers. Seems like half our deliveries actually make it inside them unfortunately. We can see others having the same problem inside the community message board in the community app. When I had my first issue with rent in 18 months they told me in the ohot that until the 5th its just a $100 late fee. On the 5th they will issue a standard 3 day eviction noticed which you would have "up to or on" the 8th to pay. We completely understood and agreed. When we hung up, a half hour later that letter was on our door THAT day. Giving us less than the agreed date of the 8th. When we first arrive we loved this place, recommended it to everyone. Slowly, they are changing our minds little by little each month. Please take these things into consideration when moving here.

My respect for them remains. However, after living here for just one month, I now realize I may have spoken too soon. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is recovering from cancer, celebrating life, or looking for a supportive community. I am in remission from breast cancer, and I have been doing my best to enjoy this second chance at life with my family and friends. My best friend is a truck driver, and I dog sit for her while she's on the road -- this has been met with complaints. I've been written up multiple times for very minor things, including briefly blocking a neighbor's garage while moving a mattress. Instead of my neighbor knocking on my door, they went straight to the office. I'm now being told that if I get one more complaint, I'll be evicted. I have a solid rental history with no issues at previous properties, so to suddenly be treated like a problem tenant feels unfair and targeted. I'm not allowed more than two guests at the pool, which makes it hard to gather with loved ones. I can't properly celebrate my daughter's graduation, or mourn and remember my other daughter on the anniversary of her passing -- even simple family support is treated like a disruption here. To make matters worse, I subleased my unit and haven't even started the official lease term, yet they are demanding $25,000 to let me out of the lease. I feel trapped in a space that doesn't support healing, joy, or life. This environment may be suitable for someone who prefers total silence and solitude -- maybe even the elderly or those at the end of life -- but it's no place for someone trying to live, heal, and thrive. Moving here was a mistake. I just want to move forward with peace and dignity, but this place has made that nearly impossible.

But if you are looking for a quiet apartment, this is not the place. Unless you are lucky and have no neighbors, which was my case for the first months. But once I had next door neighbors it was nothing but quiet. I was able to hear my neighbors baby crying all of the time! I could hear their alarm go off, their fights, it felt like I lived with them because the walls were so thin. When the upstairs neighbors flushed the toilet I could hear it as if it was happening in my unit. It felt like living in the dorms in college where you could hear everything! The electric bills never made any sense. I was charged crazy amounts for electric when I was out of town 90% of the time! $130 and more when I was rarely home. I travel a lot for work, so how can it be possible to have such high electric bills when nobody is home and all the lights are off? Before living here I lived with 5 roommates in a 6 bedroom house. And $130 is what we paid for electric in a 6 bedroom house with 6 people actually being at home. So watch your electric bills. Before moving in one resident warned me about it but I thought she was just making things up....I found out myself she was right. Parking after 8pm, good luck finding a spot. Not enough parking spots for the residents. I know residents that had to park outside of the property and got towed because of lack of parking.
