It is a very academically driven school and we loved every bit of it. The teachers are very hands-on and they actually CARE and take time to work with the kids and it shows. To name a few, Ms. Carol and Ms. Carmen has taught her to be the smartest, sweetest, and most well-behaved kid from the start. Now, Ms. Jordan and Ms. Kelly has her well prepared for the next level. Everyday our daughter impresses us with what she has learned and is very excited to go back to school day after day. You wouldn't believe how many compliments we get when we're out, about how smart, polite, and well mannered she is. We definitely owe a large part of that to this school and its incredible how she stands out amongst other kids of her age. Believe me, you will definitely be able to tell the difference. This school has an excellent track record for success. Just about every kid of her graduating class was accepted to their first pick private school. Ms. Tammy and Ms. Kirsten's vision is very focused and their recipe for success is impressive. The kids are surrounded by other great kids, so you can imagine the atmosphere of this school. The environment is very clean, bright, and most importantly, safe. There is an armed SWAT, police officer who is ALWAYS on duty when they are inside the school and especially along with them when they are outside. It definitely makes us feel better. I went to a Montessori perschool and wanted our daughter to have that experience.Having multiple age ranges in a class benefits all the students for different reasons. I think Montessori method with student driven learning is wonderful for curious children. The student to teacher ration is 10 or 11 to 1 with 3 teachers per class. I love that this school is willing to push the kids to the extent each child is willing academically. Our daughter had been home schooled/cared for by close friends for years and was well beyond the PreK curriculum before even starting. The next year, when our daughter was assessed for kindergarten in a Cobb County public school, she scored high and was placed in a more rigorous class which pleased us. The teachers and staff also assist with social learning. Our daughter was a bit behind the others socially; most of whom had been in daycare or this school versus home care/school and were well socialized. Teachers and staff worked with my daughter and my husband and I and kept us updated. Also, my daughter is being raised as a Jehovah's Witness which posses unique challenges around birthdays and holidays. The staff was understanding, accommodating, and had a willingness to learn, understand and work with our daughter and us that astonished us. I have never worked with a more flexible and helpful staff. The Director and Assistant Director were almost always there, unless I'll. We had several tours including just stopping in. Montessori schools do not put their monies into beautification; they put it into hiring and educating exceptional teachers and staff. Please remember that when you tour. They treat the children and parents with love and respect. We were completely impressed with them.

My two boys are 7 and 4 and they BOTH love going to school. Mrs. Tracy and Mrs. Caitlyn have been fantastic but honestly every teacher I've spoken with seems so supportive and happy to be there. My boys are welcomed by name every day at drop off by multiple staff members. The teachers have been so kind and really encourage the kids to be a good friends to classmates. They take a lot of pride in their classroom and that has definitely been reflected at home with their own rooms! The first week I packed lunch but my son insisted on school lunch and they enjoy it each day. To top it off both boys came home first week asking to wash their own dishes! I can tell the teachers love what they do and I feel so fortunate to have found this school that feels so much like a community!

Most people don't know, but we allowed our child to try public school for a few months at the end of last school year. The school and staff were great. But my child changed. I was not picking up the same child I dropped off. She was exhausted (despite a good bedtime), moody, and would cry at the drop of a hat. She had a totally different demeanor. People told me it was just the age and adjusting to a new school, etc. We knew public school was not going to work for us. Although, she did enjoy several things they offered. We began exploring other options. We had a wonderful opportunity to try Liberty Eagle, thanks to the many scholarship donors! (We're looking for scholarship and silent auction donors now, if you're interested in donating!) There have been a number of things we have loved so far. The biggest being that I pick up the same child I drop off! There's no more crying before or after school. No more zone out sessions, staring at the wall. No more crazy attitude. I have my child back!! She's happy. She's learning. She's thriving. Her demeanor change was not her age; it was the overstimulating, chaotic environment! The Montessori environment has been much more similar to the homeschooling environment she's accustomed to. Liberty Eagle Academy has been a true blessing for our family!
