I kept her home due to the pandemic for a few months but she was bored and it was challenging working from home and give her the attention she deserves so she came back recently. This kid comes home telling me she loves her friends & her teacher daily. She comes home with artwork every week. I also get photos in the app from the school on a daily of her doing her arts & crafts. We also get updates when they eat, are changed & notified of nap times. I also sent my older children to the summer program and they had a blast. They were 12, 6 & 5 at the time. Field trips were always great! My kids still ask to come with me to say hi to teachers & are happy to see everyone. Mrs. J runs a tight ship & has made some very wonderful updates as the years have passed. As a single mother that is trying to further her career, I feel comfortable being able to leave my kids in good hands while I do so. I appreciate Mrs. J & her staff more then they know & would recommend people try it out before they make their minds up.

My children have been at The Goddard School Austell since September 2018 and I can't imagine taking…read morethem anywhere else. After moving to this part of Atlanta recently, I was amazed at the cost/waitlist/class size of many daycares in the area. I "interviewed" several places and was starting to question whether or not I was going to find a place that I felt comfortable taking my kids to everyday. The Goddard School Austell is the same place my niece and nephew went 8 years ago and without question is the best! Mrs. Lauren was immediately warm and welcoming inviting us in to see this "family feel" preschool. She is always open for conversation, empathetic, real, transparent and a parent herself. She employs a staff that also models those qualities. If we have ever had a concern about our children (potty training, bottle weaning, tantrums etc)... they are all there to assist, work with us and ultimately foster love, patience, knowledge and kindness in our babies! They have a curriculum that is followed and emailed monthly. Daily reports are sent out over a phone app making it easy to check in on the kids each day. Healthy breakfasts and catered (healthy) lunches are provided each day, along with snacks in between. They have nice playgrounds that the kids love playing on when it is nice outside and a large open gym to run around in when it is raining or too cold to be outside, with a built in rock climbing wall, what?! Along with the day-to-day activities, they are always doing special things around the holidays for the kids/parents (Christmas program, Easter egg hunt, Valentines, etc). I honestly could go on and on about all the ways The Goddard School Austell is a phenomenal daycare... but most importantly, I don't have to question what type of care my little ones are getting. I know in my absence they are being loved, nurtured, comforted and allowed to grow, learn and explore in a warm and caring environment...every day. No security- i picked up my baby and they not 1 time ask for my ID nor my name even people i never met before . 2nd . Young girl in the infant room picked my 5 month daughter up by her hands which she could have easily dislocated my daughter arms 3rd i tried to voice my corncerns with owner she put her hand in my face and stopped me and said "what am i suppose to do" My daughter was only in this daycare for 2 days and all this transpired Last they forgot to feed my daughter according to the schedule she last ate at 11 AM AND THEY DIDNT EAT HER NOMORE THAT I FEED HER WHEN I I PICKED HER UP AT 2:45 and she was on a 3 hour feeding schedule Don't get me wrong this daycare is cheap and the only bright thing i could say was 1st shift Mrs Cathy was the best along with Kai .
