Unruly teenagers rule the roost! They fight, they bring weapons, they bully, and there are no consequences. By the time the police are called, the perpetrators run off before the police arrive. Yet, the same troublemakers are allowed to return in order to start their mess all over again! This center is in dire need of security! If they keep the rift raft out, this would be a great safe place to bring the entire family!

Upon arrival, I was asked whether the private instructor had reached out to confirm the lesson. I explained that they had not and even asked whether that was part of their normal protocol. I was told that it was not. Based on that information, I proceeded to get my child changed and prepared for the lesson. After my child was changed and ready, I was then informed that the instructor had to leave due to an emergency. While I completely understand that emergencies happen, the issue was the lack of communication. I should have been notified before driving 45 minutes to the facility and getting my child ready for a lesson that was ultimately canceled. What was even more disappointing was that there was no follow-up communication or effort to address the inconvenience after the canceled lesson. The entire experience was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend this location. If you value your time and expect basic communication and professionalism, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.

I called the Vinings School of Art, and the owner Cara or maybe it's spelled Kara, was very thorough and got my party booked right away! She insisted that I come by and view the space and decide which sculpture we wanted to do. The place is super cute, very colorful and festive, so minimum decorations are needed. Her and her assistant had the rooms spotless and ready to go way before it was time for the party to start. The kids had a blast! They created 3D rocket ships with two revolving planets! Cara/Kara was even nice enough to clean everything up after the younger babies who couldn't paint had made a mess of the toy area! From the time I made the first call to Lee, who handles the events at the center, I appreciated how friendly and helpful he was. He explained the rates of each room, how pricing works, what is and is not allowed in the event space, and let me know when I could come in for a tour. We stopped by a little after 7 one night to see the room and the guy working the front desk was more than happy to show us the room we were interested in reserving and answered all our questions. The next day, I spoke with Lee and reserved the space. It was a super easy process and I appreciated that he always responded very quickly if I had any questions. There were plenty of room options to host an event and the cost was very budget friendly. On the day of our event, things were flawless. We had no problem getting access to the room when we arrived on the day of our event and the room was already setup just as I discussed with Lee. The rooms are nice and spacious and the center has recently undergone a renovation so the rooms and bathrooms are updated and look much different than they do on their website. There is plenty of parking nearby and it's pretty easy to find the building. A really good experience and if I ever need a space for an event, I'll be sure to check out the community center first!
