Serious Concerns - Please Read Before Enrolling Your Child…read more I feel obligated to share my experience with this daycare/school, especially for parents who are trusting this place with their children's well-being. The owner/director is extremely rude to the staff and does not create a healthy work environment. There is also a clear bias and disrespect toward Americans, which is deeply concerning and unprofessional. Teachers are emotionally abusive to the children and lack patience, especially with kids who have special needs. If your child needs extra care or attention, this is not the place for them. If your child misses a day, there is no follow-up or concern from the school. Communication is nearly non-existent. Children are often not properly supervised, raising serious safety concerns. Staff are punished for taking time off, which leads to frustration and burnout--and unfortunately, the children feel the effects of that stress. This school may look okay from the outside, but behind closed doors, it's a toxic and careless environment. As a parent, I want others to know what's really happening. Your child deserves to be in a place where they're loved, safe, and supported--and this isn't

In addition, the teaching method is outdated. I visited this place twice and something about the owner disagrees with me. I almost enrolled him out of haste, and decided my child deserved better. We like West Cobb Prep and so does our son! Check them out!! Their staff of wonderful! Please read the school's owner feedback below. I rest my case.

They have lesson plans that they follow and the children really are learning. They also include the parents in the academics as well as for get togethers and programs. We enjoyed the Christmas program especially. The video we have of our son singing and dancing to songs about Jesus' birth are priceless! The former school didn't do anything like it. We didn't know what we were missing!

I must say I was completely impressed. The staff was singing and dancing with the children while the other worker prepared snacks. I witnessed a parent being upset because she was asked to pay something towards her bill. I noticed that this parent said she was going to send in a bad review. I choose this center for my child because I needed what I heard this facility offered. when I read the reviews I couldn't believe a lot of the reviews. it saddens me that the only people that had or have problems with this facility are those that don't pay, or cant use the facility. This facility offers a sliding scale to parents who can't afford daycare. I have only spoke to Mama Ronda on the phone. her energy over the phone appears genuine and she love the children. she don't play with her staff when it comes to our babies yall. Stop badmouthing this business. For the last three months my children have been going here and I have yet to witness anything negative about this facility. I pray those that spitefully use this facility and slander this facility comes to a halt.

Mama Ronda's Child Care Center and Pinnacle Pointe Daycare Academy…read more ****FEEL FREE TO FACT CHECK**** I'm a mother first. I think it's important to leave reviews whether good or bad. The ONLY thing consistent about these locations is Miss Marjorie's professional behavior. Any parent seeking childcare knows that consistency, security communication, professionalism and a good reputation is key. I've been in contact with Mama Rhonda's location during my maternity leave. I'm aware that things have changed with some daycares due to the pandemic so I would follow up at least once a week to verify if they were still 24 hours, if transportation was being provided, if they did virtual classes...etc....I like to provide names in my reviews so you know it's real. I listed both daycares since they're both owned by the same person.I was in consistent contact with the Director - Katrina Dawson since January 2021. She was well aware that my kids were going to start in March unless something changed on their end or due to the pandemic. Katrina scheduled a tour on February 17th @ 5:00pm. I showed up and she wasn't there. I was upset because she could've called me if there was a change in plans. I would call the center and Katrina would tell me she would call me back, no call back. She extended her number to me and stated that she's usually busy with kids or at her other place of employment so contact her directly. I would text her, no reply. We talked about transportation for my kids and she would NEVER follow back up with me regarding my inquiry. I met the owner Rhonda (Dr. Brown) Brown. She gave my kids and I a tour, she was very welcoming, we went over pricing, we confirmed a rate based on my schedule and we decided that we would continue to move forward with the center. I'm a very proactive Mom. I do NOT like to wait last minute to get things done especially when it comes to my kids. I talked with Mrs. Brown on 3/15/21. She informed me that she would be meeting a parent over the weekend and wanted me to come in on Sunday 3/21/21 @ 3:00pm. I did inform Mrs. Brown that would be the day before my kids are scheduled to start.I get to Mama Rhond's Childcare on 3/21/21 @ 3:00pm sharp on Sunday with my kids. Another parent is there looking for a tour. He stated that he's been waiting for there for some time. We finally get someone to come to the door and she tells us that no one is there to provide a with him with a tour (another no call no show - this place is so unprofessional). I informed her that I'm here to meet with Mrs. Brown. She contacts Shakeyta King (Mrs. Brown - Owner daughter) to let her know I'm waiting. Shakeya said "just tell her she's sleep"! I replied "can someone wake her up"? My kids are scheduled to start tomorrow? Maybe she overslept. I just texted Katrina 4 hours ago to remind her that my kids would be starting tomorrow and Mrs. Brown this morning just to confirm and neither one of them said anything about any changes.I get on the phone with Shakeyta and she informed me that Mrs. Brown is not available because she out of town due to a family emergency. Me: Emergency? I though you said she was sleeping? So which one is it Shakeyta? Then she informed me that there's a new Director by the name of Mrs. Carr. As of that morning, meanwhile, the other director Katrina was still communicating with me 4 hour prior. At this point, I'm on a three way call with Mrs. Carr and Mrs. King. Sunday 3/21/21 was my first time meeting both of them. They didn't have any knowledge of the conversation I had with Katrina or Mrs. Brown. They're throwing out all kind of prices at me. Mind out, Mrs. King could call her mother and verified any of this if she wanted to at any given time. Mrs. King said don't worry about it, bring your kids tomorrow and we'll get them started. I get a call at 3:45pm from Shakeyta at first she asked for asked for the wrong parent and asked if my child has seizures. I said no you have the wrong number however; we are scheduled to speak today. She said no I'm not looking for you. She calls me back about 4 more times and ask if my kids have food allergies. I said the ones if informed you of earlier today? Yes! She said ok, we won't be able to take them. I said why not? You could've told me that yesterday, early this morning but to wait until it's time for me to be on my way to you it totally unprofessional. Prior to me providing this review I reached out to Mrs. Brown to speak with her directly regarding my experience. I want better for my people. I'm sure this is exactly why both of your locations AREN'T QUALITY RATED! However, I truly believe in order to help you get there you have to be receptive to feedback. Since we couldn't have this conversation by phone or in person, I wanted give you some feedback so you and your staff would give other parents/guardians a better experience in the future.
