He and Richard were both wonderful in terms of communicating when they would be arriving, confirming what they needed to take and what to leave, and were very professional and efficient overall. *COULD* i have done all that myself? Rent a truck, pack up my crap, take it to multiple locations to get rid of all of it - on top of even just figuring out what the hell to do with all of it? Maybe, maybe not - but the amount of stress they took off my plate was so so SO worth the price, especially when they made the entire process, from booking to service to payment, so easy and convenient. I'll definitely use them again the next time i inevitably build up a new pile of junk for me to stress over

Victor Jr. worked with me to price the project based on pictures. (If you haven't used a junk removal service before, they prefer to come in person to give you a quote and take things right away. But you can request a quote based on pictures so that you get multiple offers.) The price was competitive, and though it was just a tiny bit more than the lowest price, the good customer service helped me trust him. When they arrived, Victor and his coworker introduced themselves to my mom and got to work. They finished in 15 minutes. Then, they took the extra step of sending me a text that the job was finished and sent me a picture of the truck of junk when I asked. We'd use Acosta again if we ever need another junk removal in San Diego. Now if only they had a Northern CA branch to help with my own post-move cleanup.

Yelp messaged 5 business, 3 got back to me that day. Although Victor's quote was a bit higher than the others, we ultimately chose him because he had the most reviews and positive feedback. One of the reviews mentioned how he supported a kids lemonade stand and that won me over as well. Acosta offers military and first time customer discount. Victor initially told me that three people would be coming to work on our project. When his other team members finished a job nearby, he called them over, so there ended up being six workers total. They worked quickly and efficiently and made a big difference in getting everything cleared out. What really stood out was that they didn't just remove the junk -- they also swept and cleaned the area afterward, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with their work and professionalism. Because of the great experience, we decided to book them again for landscaping. I saw on several of his business photos before and after pictures of landscaping work. I asked if he could recommend a move out cleaning and will be working with the workers he suggested. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a responsive and hardworking junk removal team.
