When visiting Tennessee I need some Tennessee & Kentucky Spirits to assist with my visit. Google pointed me to Pour Vous Wine & Spirits. They had a fantastic selection. I choose the George Dickel Single Barrel 15 year and couldn't decide on another one. I asked the gentleman at the front. I didn't get his name, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The George Dickel is actually 18 years ole and he opened a sample bottle and gave me a taste. How awesome. I was interested in the Bardstown Black or White Label and Old Forester / Michener's or something. Sorry if I got that wrong. He recommended the Bardstown and said the Black was very smooth. He wasn't kidding. That Bardstown Black is my new best friend. Excellent on the rocks. I would definitely recommend and return if in the area looking for spirits! read more

I never walk away because I couldn't find something. This place has a great selection. Obviously they've got the typical: beer, wine and liquor. But they also have gift ideas, cigars, specialty items and other fun stuff I can't find other places! The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. Pour Vous is my new favorite liquor store in Tennessee. And if Hendersonville does vote to allow wine in grocery stores, Pour Vous will continue to do well. They have a great selection and friendly and knowledgeable staff. An earlier review discussed how this was actually two stores under one roof. Luckily, Tennessee laws have changed, and Pour Vous has already adapted to the new laws. It is now one store with liquor, wine, and beer. And the high-gravity beers are on the same shelves and coolers as the regular beers. I love IPAs, and was delighted to find Stone's Ruination in the cooler, along with an impressive selection of other craft beers. read more

So far, i really like this store. And this is actually impressive considering my background with a different liquor store. I used to go to Taylor Wine and Spirits in Portland TN until they closed down. My parents referred it as 'the family liquor store'. I bought a bunch of my firsts there, like wine and bourbon. So i have a high bar set by Taylor Wine. I'll always have room in my heart for that place. Pour Vous is a great alternative to that 'family liquor store'. The staff was friendly both time i visited (and the first time was less than 20 minutes before closing!). They also apparently work hard; on my second visit i saw one of the employees (or is that a manager?) cleaning the glass front doors. The task itself is not a big deal, but it shows a great work ethic in my opinion. I should mention the rest of the employees were moving around the store with productive tasks, which is very impressive in a liquor store. So, thank you all Pour Vous employees for the service! Earn that smoke break. I recently finished bartending school (review on that later!) so i have fresh drink mixing ideas. Initially, I entered this store just to get whiskey. Once I saw the massive selection of products they had, I felt inspiration to find the ingredients to make a Manhattan. They had cherries, bitters, and sweet vermouth. I did have trouble finding the vermouth, so i asked the cashier about as she rung it up. The other employee heard my inquiry and led me to the shelf with the sweet vermouth. Keep in mind this was the visit late in the evening, before close. They showed no signs of impatience. Again, I find this impressive. To sum up everything i have experienced at Pour Vous, it's a very pleasant liquor store to visit. It better stay in business! read more

In my ongoing search for great liquor stores that understand the importance of Nashville's (almost) local liquor, I have neglected to speak of the one closest to my home. That was a mistake as they are one of the best in town. Pour Vous is actually two stores in one, a large liquor store on one side and a great beer and accompaniments store on the other. Due to Tennessee's archaic and absurd liquor laws, they cannot occupy the same store - after all, if one allowed the purchase of tonic and limes in the same place that one sells gin, why then the very heavens may fall in, dogs and cats would start living together, in short, total anarchy. Fortunately the great State of Tennessee in its infinite wisdom saves us from this demise. Anyway, back at Pour Vous, they dont let any of this nonsense slow them down. Want growlers of beer - go through the little doorway and you have your choice of hundreds, included a dozen different ones on tap for growlers. Plus all the condiments, stir sticks and mixers on could ask for. Of course, while Tennessee relegates 'regular' beer to the condiment aisle, high gravity beer gets to swim with the big boys in the liquor store (because that makes sense?) Apparently they have a great selection and get some very hard to find beers because as I was settling in to a movie night with the misses a week or two ago, one of my friends from Bellevue called and ordered me to run (or drive fast) over to get him some incredibly rare beer before it was all gone. But back to whats important - if you are there for the bourbon, then you are in the right place. This store has a deep selection of wines and gins and vodkas and everything else other people care about, but for me, I could not care less (except to buy the boxes of wine that keep y wife happy, of course). But their bourbon cup runneth over. Set next to the ryes and the scotches and other inferior whiskeys, is a solid selection of brown goodness. Equally important, they have an educated sales force that knows of the beverages of which they sell. I am rather finicky when it comes to liquor stores. Pour Vous is deserving of the excellent reputation they are quickly aquiring. read more

so after my rude customer service at another competitor with pride I drove the extra mile to Hendersonville to Pour Vous. Now I've been to this place several times. Unfortunately I should have made this stop my first stop instead of that other place which I will not mention their name..better believe they got a poor review. what I love about this place its spacious the liquors are easy to find, you can go next door and get some snacks as well as all types of beer and cigars. the staff are very nice and pleasant which is the key thing in a retail industryeven if they don't smile they speak. not only that I am NOT a liquor connoisseur so my knowledge of wines and liquors are very basic but there is always this gentleman that beer that's very knowledgeable and he gives me some options whenever I am clueless on what to buy. the extra miles is well worth the treatment and the experience as a customer. read more
