Crush Bottle Shop is located in Chestnut Hill and it's the bottle shop that we've all been waiting…read morefor in the area. This locally owned business is gorgeous and the layout is very easy to navigate. You walk right in and to the left is chilled bottles that are ready for you to grab and go. Straight ahead is the checkout counter as well as a tasting bar that's very inviting. No cocktails but tastings so you can taste before you buy. Then, the main star and the majority of the space is wines around the world. You can find such unique types of wine and I really loved exploring each area. As you head further back, there are plenty of non-alcoholic options as well as spirits and then another set of fridges that have beer, cocktails in a can (including MY favorite Two Chicks Vodka Elderflower and Pear Cocktail). If you don't like it, I'll happily drink them. Staff is very knowledgeable and happy to help you find the right bottle for yourself after a long day or a nice gift for a housewarming you're heading to and everything in between. The graphics you see were drawn from a local artist and I love supporting small businesses that also champions of other local artisans! Looking forward to coming back very soon! Parking: There are a few spots to park right in front of the business or there is a parking garage that has free parking available for customers.

Never thought I'd be writing a review on a 'liquor store' of all places, but this is no ordinary…read moreplace to 'buy booze'. It is more a reputable neighborhood establishment, than a quick stop to simply buy alcohol. My first experience with this place was January-2022 during a snowstorm. When everywhere else was "closed for snow day," The husband and wife team at Dean's remained open, so a group of us went in. Mr. and Mrs. Moon shared a lot of info on their spirits, allowed us to taste test new (and old) products, and were just generally enthusiastic to answer our whiskey questions and change our minds about flavored spirits. Now, Deans is our (wife & I) go-to place not just for spirits but gift giving as well. They will custom engrave products that you purchase from them. I have bought & engraved whiskey bottles for many occasion; retirement, thank you, birthdays, etc. They are GREAT!
