There's a large amount of places to eat and drink here too, as there is around Wembley as a whole. LDO also features a Cineworld Cinema. PRO TIP: Use the tube if coming here as Wembley Park Underground Station is only a short walk away, parking is expensive and on an event day, you'll be paying a flat rate and spending hours getting out of the car park. Overall, it's a cool location to grab a bite to eat or shop, especially on a non-event-day, walking around the mall, you can also see the iconic Wembley Stadium arch. 4*

I find that the clothes I buy from here will last just one season before shrinking too much or dropping to pieces. They are not made to last. It's a complete mixed bag of many things that are truly worth no more than 99p and some things that may possibly be worth a pound or even a pound and a penny. However they sell After Eight mints in boxes small enough to fit in the 1970's metal holder that belonged to my nanny and is full of fond memories. I am not local (American) but I have lived in London as a young poor 20 something. Primark was a Godsend for me. It's also really interesting now that they have expanded into the states (although not where I live) to come back and see how it has changed. When I lived here and had no money this was my go to for anything trendy, or needed. When I moved back to America quite unexpectedly I went there to stock up on inexpensive suitcases to pack up my life and carry back across the world. Any fast fashion or trendy items, this was my go to. Needed something for my home that didn't need to be high quality, Primark. I got a job at AllSaints a few blocks away and we were supposed to wear their clothes exclusively, but we only got a 60% discount (that's a big discount but still not inexpensive for a college kid) so I got a lot of my work shoes here and they never noticed. Now that I visit as a tourist, it's my go to for things like I need an umbrella that I can leave behind when I go home, or it's raining and I didn't bring my raincoat with me today...or it's colder than what I planned for on this trip so let me stop by and grab a few pieces of layering clothes or a coat. The Disney selection makes me wonder why there isn't a Primark in Orlando (because they get very unique Disney licensed items). If you don't have a big budget or are in need of souvenirs, I also recommend Primark. But if you're looking for a luxury experience, this isn't for you. If you're anti fast fashion, please just skip this. It's busy and loud and sort of a cattle call at the till, but it's great novelty spot. The layout has shed over the years bit it's still a great spot for cheep gifts, replacing broken or lost items and getting an unexpected suitcase for any souvenirs if you are a tourist (my favorite suitcase going on 11 years was £25 from here & yes we got another this most recent trip) 3 stars because I've definitely had some weird experience here over the years but generally if you go in knowing what it is and what to expect, it won't disappoint you.

For anyone when has not usesd a Savers store before it's like a cross between Boots and Poundland. For any Americans wondering what that is; it's like a cross between CVS and Dollar General. The store is clean and compact. It is great for any toiletries, cleaning materials and laundry goods. They also sell a limited range of soft drinks, wine and beer. I just like the fact that they can sell branded goods at a much lower price than supermarkets and Boots/Superdrug. I often come in here just to grab a can of soda. At 29p for a cold can of Pepsi Max, you can't go far wrong!

I found this rather interesting ,catering to the Pound shop market so much. A good idea, all around. One really good bit I almost missed...this shop has a pretty small soap section but they have Schwarzkopf mousse for 1 pound. I use it for the front of my hair.

Review of New Look in Harrow…read more Today, I went shopping at New Look in Harrow and had an unpleasant experience at the checkout. When I was paying for my items, I asked if they offered a student discount. The cashier confirmed that they do and asked for my student card. However, when I handed it over, she told me it was not real because it did not have an expiry date. I have been studying at Harrow College for two years, and this card was issued by the college itself. I explained this to the cashier and even offered to prove it using the Harrow College student app, which clearly shows my enrollment status. The app also displays my photo, date of birth, and name, and I even had a class on the same day. Despite this, she refused to accept my student card, which was frustrating and disappointing. After completing my purchase, she asked for my email. I told her I would prefer a printed receipt if possible. Instead of responding professionally, she laughed sarcastically and said, "A student without an email?" which I found rude and unprofessional. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I hope the store trains its staff better on customer service and how to properly verify student IDs.

Ive just recently bought a coat for £35pounds, now for a leggy bird like myself that is a good thing because all the specialist tall shops think Iam rich, I could buy the same jacket at it would be 80 quid. What Nonsence! This New Look is pretty big and caters for all you have the average size chick, big chicks, petit chicks, pregnant chicks and teeny bobbers chicks clothing all under one roof. Fella's you are not left out too you got your section on one side of the store. When they have a sale on its a good one To complete that outfit they have an accesoriess section as well. Plus they play some crackin tunes while you shop. I spent the whole of summer looking fly because of this shop. I wish the section was bigger, but I know us tall chicks are a rare species so I will do with what I got. Because this New look is in the town centre they have great transport links with Harrow on the Hill(metroplotian line) station and bus station being 15mins away (depending on how long your legs are). You can have a day of shopping because their are a variety of shops not only clothing. You got your pubs, restaurants even VUE cinema. Broadly speaking non fiction is upstairs (some sections here are poorly stocked- I've always found the languages section especially poor). The most positive factor in the store are the staff; this is definitely the store to go to if you are not sure about a title, etc. as they will go out of their way to track down what you are looking for. If however you are buying a best selling book they will usually be much cheaper at Sussex Stationers about 200yards further down the shopping precinct.
