It was a sunday, I was in pain and could hardly see - and all the doctors and chemists were closed. In desperation, I headed to Boots and found the chemist there really helpful. He examined my eye and suggested some antibiotic eyedrops, explaining how to use them and how often, before telling me it should clear up my eye infection within three days. The eyedrops worked, and his advice made me feel a lot better. I would definitely recommend calling in at Boots for advice on minor ailments, particularly if you've got a long wait for a doctor's appointment. read more
