The shop pretends to be a cheap place, while has some bad quality stuff with triple the price of similar stuff in other shops and never cuts a key which can work at all. The man in the bright day light takes your money without any shame and then accuses you of racism! He charged me £7 to cut 2 keys, not working. twice I took them to the shop for a refund. The third time he refunded me on my debit card. The next day I checked and realized rather than refunding he had taken another £7! I went there, burst into anger and asked for my £14 or will call the police! He was laughing at me what did the police do? When he noticed I was serious, refunded me in cash. There was a CCTV there, recording all that happened. He lied to the police I spat on him and called him a bad name! It is now recorded in the police station. In the future, be aware if he wants to play the race card, he has at least one record in this regard at the police station BE MINDFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, HE GETS MONEY OUT OF IT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT AND WITH NO SHAME, IN THE BRIGHT DAYLIGHT!

I love this place…read more It's massive, the biggest B&M I've ever seen. There is even a huge garden centre at the back and parking so you can transport all your wares. I really like B&M though the products to tend to be a little inconsistent. They always have a large range of non perishable food and the things they do have are around half the price of the supermarket alternatives and in many cases cheaper than the pound shops round the corner. The things that impressed me on this visit was the sheer range of household/kitchen implements for big names like Tefal or Kenwood at very low prices. I would dare say that the range is even better than you'll find in IKEA. This particular store had larger items like TVs, heaters and even Silentnight beds. They also seemed to have a huge amount of halloween things this time, way better than anywhere else Id seen. I ddn't get to see the gardening area properly but from the outside it also looked huge. The first time I went past Sven Sisters underground station I walk ed right past it. If fact I only found it walking in to a cafe only to find it had a door at the back into this hidden Latino world. There was music playing sunny tunes, with children dancing around, old people just chatting away in Spanish. The place seems more on eone gaint social club than a load of shops. Had a huge meal with fresh juice, followed by a Colombain strong coffee. Than just enjoyed the vibe. Often pop in when passing. Top tip go on saturday for a hair cut, a meal, stock up on books, dvds, music for learning the language. Or just pop into for a coffee or frozen juice on a stick. And if all this eating and drinking gets too much there is always the suit and corset maker to hide the sins.

When moving hous this is pretty much my one stop shop, it's a cross between a pound store on one side and right next door is this discount store that sells things for slightly more but are still a bargain. Don't be afraid to haggle too, I always do, and no it never really works they just point at the price tag and shrug but at least I'm trying! I have bought a fabulous soft rug here for my new flat, not the prettiest thing in the world but it was well over 10ft square and only cost £60. Other stuff they do is washing lines, tea pots, random crap that you don't need but suddenly think you do when you're in there and more. Seriously, if you are in the area make sure you pop in. It's a great random store.

It's a complete mixed bag of many things that are truly worth no more than 99p and some things that may possibly be worth a pound or even a pound and a penny. However they sell After Eight mints in boxes small enough to fit in the 1970's metal holder that belonged to my nanny and is full of fond memories. This store is in a pretty great location with all the bus stops nearby. If I'm already shopping in Commercial Road I might pop in this branch, but as there is now a Poundland just a across the Road, I'd probably shop in there. They are still good value though, and this one seems to have quite a lot of bits for the kitchen in it. Stock doesn't seem to change very often (unlike Poundland) so I find it's not really worth going in unless I need something. This time of year they're always full of cheap Christmas decorations.
