We took it in to get cleaned up after a bag installation mistake that filled the compartment with filth. I was prepared to buy a new machine. They said they could put it right and for a few hundred bucks up charge they could make it "look and function like new." I told my wife no way. She told me to get out of the way and ordered the service upgrade. She was right. They made the vacuum look and function like new. It's been a few months and the vacuum is still like new. He took a quick look and said I'd have to leave it, and that it would probably be a week before he could get to it, as he was late for lunch then. He took out a receipt book and took my name and phone number. I asked if I might have a receipt before leaving. Chet took tremendous offense and immediately said I could just take my machine and leave. I explained it had nothing to do with trust (although I didn't know him at all), but rather I'd left a coat at the cleaners once and there was a fire that destroyed my coat. The insurance wouldn't reimburse me because I had no receipt, even though the cleaners said they remembered me. I apologized that I had offended him, as I certainly didn't mean to. He was extremely rude, saying I was trouble and he didn't want to deal with me. Mind you, this machine was worth several thousand dollars, had tremendous sentimental value (belonged to my mother, who just passed) and there was no indication of what his charge might be. My only conclusion was that he probably had no insurance, he had no business acumen, and certainly no people skills.

Our HOA requires dryer vent inspections every other year, so I hired the Dryer Vent Squad of Ft. Collins to inspect my dryer vent. Afterwards, the DRYER VENT SQUAD of FT. COLLINS sent me an email report saying my dryer vent hose was completely disconnected. They said they could fix it, but it would involve busting up the drywall to get at it, and they don't repair drywall. They sent a blurry PDF photo with the email to "show" it was disconnected. After months of wrangling with the HOA to determine whether I or the HOA was the party responsible for this repair, the HOA said it was all on me. Since it was essentially a construction project to repair it, it took me a year or so to save up the money to do it. I finally called a licensed contractor to open the drywall and reconnect the dryer vent hose, but when the contractor opened the drywall and visualized the whole length of the vent hose, they found it was NOT actually disconnected at all. I told the DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS about this. They checked my account and said they actually MADE A MISTAKE and sent me the WRONG info and photo -- it was for a different address. While they refunded me for the inspection, their mistake cost me over $500 to have the drywall torn out, repaired and re-painted, all for nothing because of their mistake. When I asked THE DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS to cover the cost of the contractor ripping out and repairing the drywall, they ghosted me and wouldn't even offer to share the cost. Do yourself a favor and FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. I found out the hard way that this business CANNOT be trusted.

I called them this morning as I had a carpet cleaner cancel on me last minute! I was told that they could try to squeeze me in around three or 4 PM but they would try if possible to come earlier. Around 11 AM I got a call saying their technician had finished a job early and could come if that's ok. The technician was here within 10 minutes and prompt Lee looked at the house and gave me an additional quote for stairs as I was thinking about doing that. The price was reasonable and actually ended up being a little bit less than what I was expecting. The service was great and the quality of the cleaning is exceptional. I have had my carpets cleaned before and still would see certain marks. I am not seeing those marks that I normally see and can tell that the carpets have been very well cleaned and taken of. Even though this is the first time I have used this company to have my carpets cleaned, I will definitely be using them in the future for additional needs. I was so pleased with their ability to fit me in to the schedule as well as exceed my expectations.
