The half a star off is because a couple of times the order hasn't been 100% correct. Maybe a missing small chips or something. They are always happy to take it off the next order but it knocked them off the full 5 stars. Having said that I wouldn't go anywhere else around here for my fish'n'chips!

Yum! Yum! I…read moreabsolutely love Burlington's. The takeaway is good, but it's better if you can go in and eat. There's a variety of different fish dishes (friend and grilled), sides and starters. Burlington's is the first place I had Fish and Chips in the UK. (I've been told it's better up north, but to date, I'm not sure I believe people, as what I've tried, really doesn't compare!) Burlington's also introduced me to Mushy Peas. I'm definitely a fan, and whenever I have out of the country visitors (who always seem to want to get Fish and Chips while they're in the UK for some reason), I always take them to Burlington's. It does help that it's near our place, but it is one of the better fish places I've been to. My partner and I can often get away with a starter and splitting a main because the portions are amazingly huge. The takeaway portions are smaller, but still quite good sized.
