Switched to Potomac Valley Chiropractic since moving to MoCo from HoCo. Dr. Theodore and Dr. Diaz identified the root cause of my dysfunction and addressed it versus other chiropractors in the past that only temporarily relieved the symptoms. As a father of a new baby, how your back feels will be the main factor that determines quantity & quality of family time spent. read more

Dr. Spiro is unsurpassed. He and his wife and the entire staff are so kind and they truly care. Even when I lost my father, they sent a card signed by everyone with true condolences. Their kindness is only outweighed by Dr. Spiro's expertise. I've been going to chiropractors for 20 years, since I was a teenager, and I have never gotten the true improvement in my comfort and quality of life that I get after being treated by Dr. Spiro. I'm so thankful I found him, and I will never go anywhere else. read more

I'm a full time firefighter so I get my share of aches and pains. I had been to two different chiropractors prior to seeing Dr. Theodore. They gave me some general adjustments but nothing beyond that. I had always had some minor chronic back pain that I just couldn't shake, even with stretching. The first time I sat down with Dr. Theodore, he diagnosed me with some issues that I had no idea I had. I started seeing him a couple times a week, and several weeks later my back pain is virtually gone. I go to home once a week now for maintenance and I always leave feeling better. I cannot recommend Potomac Valley Chiropractic enough. Dr. Theodore is amazing and his staff is very friendly and professional. Go make an appointment today! read more

I was injured by Spiro Theodore when he made an adjustment. My ribs popped and I jumped off the table in severe pain. I found out later, my ribs intercostals were torn as a result. He was using too much force and was not mindful about what he was doing. I saw two different chiropractor after that to get support and they said he should have never done that type of manipulation on my spine like he did. He admitted he made a mistake and apologized when I talked with him on the phone but several weeks afterwards would not recognize that when I had to pay a lot of money to see others chiropractors, he would not compensate me for what he said "I want to make it right". He basically was hiding behind his excuses and denial even though he initially told me on the phone that he wanted to make it right. He didn't even offer to refund me that one visit. He sees clients every 5 minutes like a factory automation. I really thought he was of much higher integrity when he said he wanted to make it right but when it came down to paying for my visits to another chiropractor in my recovery, he declined and said he did nothing wrong. read more

Life is good! For six weeks, I suffered from sciatic nerve pain that had me spending painful nights attempting to sleep in my bed only to escape to the recliner. Who would have thought a chiropractor would be the answer for managing my pain? Large doses of Ibuprofen certainly were not. I met Dr. Spiro Theodore of Potomac Valley Chiropractic at a health fair. While I was rather skeptical, Dr. Theodore's provided an explanation for the pain and a recommendation for treatment that made sense. I decided to give chiropractic treatment a try. Immediately, I experienced relief. No more sleeping in the recliner! My back and sciatica issues are a work in progress, but the immediate and continuing pain relief is liberating. Oh, he fixed my wrist and neck pain too! Yay, definitely better than surgery. The office runs on time. Dr. Theodore and his staff are friendly and caring. I highly recommend this practice for chiropractic care. Give it a try for that bad back or nerve pain problem. read more

I was recommended to this practice by a family member who said Dr. Spiro was the only practitioner who had been able to help with the complexity of their problems. I came in to work on my tight shoulders, as a result of too much computer work and age. I saw some progress then had a sports injury (torn meniscus) that we've been treating along with the shoulders. I have seen good progress with a combination of dry needling and adjustments. What I like most about the practice is the feeling that Dr. Spiro always listens to me, never talks down to me as some doctors can do. He has been willing to change the treatment plan in order to get better results. The office staff has been most welcoming and they all have taken strict measures to comply with the new covid standards. If they were not this good, I would not drive an hour to see them for my appointments. read more
