I like my ophthalmologist, and have been coming for years; however, the wait time just keeps…read moregetting longer. Average wait time from in to out is now two hours. All I did (Sept. 2026) was vision fields test and Dr. review, still took two hours. I've complained before and office manager blamed the Dr. for the excessive wait. I believe the doctors are over booked and support staff insufficient. Support staff turnover is an indicator of dissatisfaction.

My experience with ECNV doctors has been excellent until now. My appointments with Dr. Rebecca…read more Truong were 9/21/2026, for a complete eye exam and prescription for glasses, and 9/22/2026, for a field of vision test. Dr. Truong knew at the outset that I needed glasses so that I could pass the Virginia DMV vision test to renew my driver's license. Upon completion of the 9/22 appointment, I made payment and asked for my prescription. The desk clerk said that Dr. Truong hadn't provided one. I pointed out that I had asked for one when I checked in on 9/21. So a staff person went to Dr. Truong and returned a few minutes later with a prescription for glasses. When I got to my car, I examined the prescription and noticed that it corrected my vision to 20/50 in both eyes. That fails to meet DMV requirements. I immediately went to another ophthalmologist who examined my eyes and provided a prescription that corrected my vision to 20/25 in the left eye and 20/40 in the right. This satisfies DMV requirements. I found Dr. Truong to be dismissive and neglectful. She was a complete waste of time and money! People who need glasses that substantially improve their vision should avoid Dr. Truong.

I have an appointment in October atc1:30pm. 2 days before my appointment Dr. Office kept calling me…read moreif I can change my appointment time from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. I asked them that if you have 2:30pm available then can you switch my wife appointment to that time which was scheduled later in the month of October so we both can come together and they refuse it so I refused their request. When I got to my appointment I believe those office people took their revenge from me for not change my time. This is the first time I was going to Dr. Babar office but I was found out that His staff is really unprofessional or they were treating me this way for their revenge. First they have checked my eye exam with the glasses on. Declared that I have perfect 20 20 vision. WoW great news. But I wear glasses for driving and glasses for reading. Dr showed up for hardly 2 minutes. Another scam I called this a scam since you billing my insurance and on top of it If I need my prescription for eye examination Dr charger extra $50.00 dollars. In $50 to $75.00 i can get eyes exam without using my insurance from a lot of other places. Because of these reasons I won't recommend anyone to go there. Worst experience. Especially Worst office experience. Dr. Babar assistants do not look fully qualified to me. Just an hourly employee putting drops in your eyes and have you read the alphabets. Because they never care to change the lens even when I was telling them that I can't read. Please stay away from Dr. Babar lateef office. Worse Worse experience. Thank you

I was told I had to wait over a month to have a procedure to clear a blocked tear duct. The doctor…read moreonly does this procedure one day per month, only in one office, and only in the middle of the day. I had to take a day off of work and drive 45 minutes to get there. I waited in the office (with no air conditioning) for 40 minutes before I asked why others who arrived after me were seen first. I was told that I would not be seen for another hour because the doctor had two procedures before mine and he was a "little behind." I would not recommend to anyone.

I wish I could give Dr. Kasi a MILLION stars!! While on a business trip to the Washington DC area,…read moreI had an eye emergency. Dr. Kasi came in on a Saturday afternoon to help. He immediately performed laser eye surgery on my torn retina. I was terrified! By the time I left his office, I knew I was going to be ok. The kindest, gentlest, most intelligent doctor I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting! Dr. Kasi went the extra mile to call some friends in South Florida to make me a follow up appointment at one of the worlds best eye institutes. I have to say, they pale in comparison to the quality of care I received with Dr. Kasi. They are equally impressed by his work- and I have had no issues since! I'm not sure how I got so lucky to find Dr. Kasi at that moment, but I am forever grateful for him and his staff!! Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Kasi!

I came to this office couple years ago after getting referred by my eye doctor. I came again…read morerecently after getting referred again by my eye doctor (the doctor I saw has passed, but I was referred to another doctor). Prior to my appointment, I did and insurance verification and the front desk AND my insurance company said that the provider and office was in network with my insurance. So, my appointment was moved several times because the doctor was unavailable (understandable). When I came I for my appointment, I had the worst experience with the front desk staff. Every single word she said to me was "no". She first asked for my last name in an obnoxious way (ok, that's fine), second I gave her my insurance card and driver's license per her request and she goes "NO NO NO NO NO, we don't work with your insurance --its a platinum plus plan btw. I said that prior to my appointment I had made sure it was in network and was told that there would be a copay of $20 via voice-mail from the office. She said "NO NO NO". I then played her the voice-mail from their office stating that they are in network with my insurance and that there would be a copay. She then rolled her eyes and shrugged. She wanted me to fill out forms that I had already filled out (I had been a patient there 10 years ago, and also filled them out on their website beforehand and brought it in). She then proceeded to say her favorite word, "no" that it wasn't acceptable. After 10 minutes of hearing constant "no" we were instructed to wait for the doctor, who we could see pacing back and forth waiting for us. I was so turned off by the front desk encounter and frankly did not trust the office to provide a nice patient experience. So after about 5 minutes of waiting, I decided to cancel my appointment. I did not want to be a patient at this awful office. We told the "no" lady that we will be canceling our appointment and then she proceeds to say "ok" and demands us to take back our paperwork. To be honest, it was a relief to hear something different than "no". In either case, they lost a new patient, a former patient, and all my referrals. We didn't even meet the doctor. What an awful way to treat your patients. TLDR; didn't even meet the doctor because the front desk team member was just awful (her favorite word is no) and we decided we did not want to be patients of an office that has team members treat patients horribly.
