Highly recommend this amazing team at Ashburn Driving School. I purchased the lessons for my 20yo…read moregrandson after thoroughly researching the many options. Everything went incredibly well from the very beginning. Mrs Tulloch was great to work with for scheduling the lessons. I appreciate how she answered every question and thoroughly explained each step in the process. My grandson had his first ten lessons with Mr. Snyder and his last seven lessons with Mr. Tulloch before taking the road test. He was well prepared and passed the road test on the first try with "no errors ". My grandson is also a great driver, so I can definitely say the lessons were worth every single penny spent. Thank you so much!

We just completed our third experience with Ashburn Driving School and we have never been more…read morehappy with a business than this one. So many driving schools in the area are corrupt- they take your money, take your student for a quick drive, and issue them their license, just to rack up as many students ($$) as possible, and your child/student learns nothing. That is definitely not the case with Ashburn Driving School! Mr. Tulloch is extremely thorough and he takes his job seriously and we could not be more thankful. By the time our students completed Mr. Tulloch's sessions, they were much more informed and very confident that they could handle any situation they come across on the roads. We all know the Ashburn area is not an easy place to learn to drive, so why would anyone want to take a shortcut with those other driving schools? I mean, you are taking the lives of your children in your hands if you have not prepared them as best you can, and that is why Ashburn Driving School was the only choice for us. Mr. Tulloch really cares about your kids and he wants to see them become good drivers, so he runs them through a battery of tests and lessons such as learning how to evade trouble by taking the car off the road, then getting the car back on the road. No other driving school is this thorough, I can promise you that. We all want our kids to be safe, it is scary enough to be the parents of teen drivers, so it is best to give them the best instruction possible and to our family, there is simply no other choice. Thank you to Lyle and Cathy Tulloch for operating a truly great driving school.

I finally ended up getting my money back from this so call driving instructor by threading to…read morereport him to a company that he preying to be affiliated with. Do yourself a favor if you decide to learn from him do not give him any money up front. Pay as you go.. do to the fact that his a great teacher and I learned really well with him, but his a scammer at the same time, he has done this to so many people, and it's not worth it because he cancels a lot when he has your money so ur not consistent with the driving.. plus his not affiliated with any company even if he tells you he is, if you ask him.

I would give this school no stars at all if i could. I made a huge mistake and decided to give this…read moreschool a try. My instructor, Ahmad, failed to show up to our sessions on several occasions. He did not call ahead to cancel, nor afterwards to apologize for not showing up. He never answered his phone or returned my phone calls and messages. Eventually, I had to seek legal routes to get my money back. The summary of my experience is as follows: * I wasted weekends and multiple days during spring and summer break waiting for him to show up to our sessions, all in vain. * I had to deal with the unprofessional and irresponsible behavior of my instructor, by calling and messaging him and hoping he would call me back. * I had to go through the trouble of figuring how to get my money back, since he wouldn't respond to my messages asking him for a refund. * To be fair, he is a good teacher. The trick is to actually get him to show up for the sessions. * He talks a lot about his country, and since I was hoping to receive behind-the-wheel training rather than a crash course on history and politics, I kind of felt uncomfortable during our sessions. * My instructor also tends to brag a lot about his instructing abilities and how he is the best in the area, which I kind of understand form a "marketing" stand point, but I definitely felt that he was imposing on me when he asked me to write him a positive review on google business after our first session! Bottom line is: This is a "one-man" school and the instructor is extremely inconsistent, so if he decides to ignore you like he did to me, you have no one to go to.

He'll put on a video and when it ends, we have to wait between 5 and 15 minutes for him to come back. This is excruciating. It's like detention. The class started 45 minutes late. Then we spent a full hour on introductions- 20 people going around the room stating their name and why they were here. Then Kaz gave each individual person advice- "get a lawyer" were his words of wisdom for most people. "Drive better" was his response for everyone else. If you're looking to actually learn anything from a driving class, don't come here. If you just want to get the certificate and don't care about your experience, go for it. Kaz is a professional and an expert at colossally wasting people's time. Don't get me wrong. I'm here because I got a speeding ticket and the court mandated that I take a driver improvement class. If this class were offered by the DMV and it was free, then all of this BS would be fine. But AA Driving Academy is a private business that I paid for a product--an 8-hour driving class--and the product is horrible.
