    They came out so cute!

Pass by Potobox all the time at the mall but finally decided to check it out with my daughter. She's 23 months old but she enjoyed all the props and wearing the different headbands. After you pick your props, choose a photo booth and pay (by card). It's $12 which includes 2 sets of photos. You pick the theme and frame you want then it starts snapping. You can of have to be fast if you want to keep changing props lol. But the photos came out so cute and make for great memories. We even got a voucher for a free photo session on our next visit but it has to be on a weekday. This is something fun to do with your kids and family or your friends! I'll definitely be back!

I went to the new one in waikiki(international market place) and they had everything you could want in skincare and you can also ask for certain shades to be ordered if they don't have. The staff gave me plenty of information and suggestions for what I was looking for. And great prices. so I'll be back!

Went here with my friend for her bday celebration. We been wanting to go here for a while and finally got the chance. I think what surprised me was how automated everything was here. Basically everything is just done with your credit card and selecting the type of photo layout you want. They had lots of cute props so I chose my aesthetic accordingly. LOL

Adorable pop up for two months until Potobox moves to a location next to Target. David Chang is the Director of Operation for Potobox. Currently this pop up is located near CROCS and Moomin Shop Hawaii. It's an adorable photo box opportunity to take memorable photos of friends, loved ones, yourself and so much more. Dress up or come as you are. You control what type of pictures you want here. Price @$12.00 per selection (see pictures) There instagram page is @potobox_official. Pop up located on street level of Ala Moana Center. Free parking.

I've always been surprised that we've never had photobooth services like the ones in Japan or South Korea, especially because of how Asia-influenced Hawaii is already. I'm so glad that we finally have a spot on island now! I'd describe these photobooths as more similar to Korean-style photobooths and not like Japanese-style photobooths since there isn't any face altering options (I've had my fair share of purikura in Japan, which is just as fun!). There's a wide variety of fun props to choose from whether it be a plush soju bottle or a bunny ear headband. In these booths, you can comfortably fit four people at a time - but it is doable with more people if everyone works together (just note that it may feel cramped haha). The pictures are reasonably priced and I thought it was neat that they have an area where you can decorate your freshly printed photos with drawings and stickers. I went here three different times so far with different groups of friends and coworkers -everyone enjoyed the experience so I highly recommend you try it out with a friend/loved one/coworker at least once. I know it's a pop up store so I'm not too sure if this will eventually go away in the near future. That being said, stop be here if you're able to!

It was fun. Great gift for my daughter's graduation from preschool. Definitely need taller stools for the keiki. But we used what we could. Need silly graduation hats. I'm sure those would be fun. But we had blast! She wants to bring her friends. Definitely going to need a raised bench for this group of kids. The staff were helpful in answering questions. We'll do this again. My daughter wants to bring her favorite plushies to pose with. It was worth it. We definitely will come back again. I would consider costumes as a fun idea to add to the mix. I know my daughter would love to dress in sone craziness.

Treehouse has been there for me since I was 15 just dipping my toes into serious shots in school but it's not without its faults. Most fall in the lab and prices on this but the staff have been nothing short of fantastic each step of the way since moving back especially. Where my qualms occur though is with the lab and prices especially for bulk loading. While most of everything here on the rock is slightly inflated due to shipping and stuff and that makes sense some films especially more of the popular consumer and professional stocks are in most cases $1-6 more than those same ones in say a shop in California/washington. Though my personal biggest bugaboo is the lab with scans will take creative liberties on some scans to get it back to viable color and others will be left to the wind especially when I have overexposed my film by a stop which imho is commonplace for most film shooters to preserve shadow detail and reduce grain. All the while they'll say you have to pay extra when you see a huge green/blue shift for a majority of the roll where 2-5 will be regular looking compared to samples online. Tied with this is the fact that they only send you a Dropbox of jpegs for the pro level 30mp scans. While I understand the compression is slightly better than Google Drive pro level in the mainland again has always been wetransfers of tifs or at minimum jxls with some latitude to re edit or archive. While pricing for these are near competitive with +- a couple bucks and being Hawaii's premiere lab comes with some understandable waits I can't for the life of me understand why they can't allow for a simple change for those niche pros still looking for archival level lossless compression or the ability to compress them freely themselves. While this won't stop me using them as shipping back to my old labs in the mainland is a pain and a half I do wish us select pros/enthusiasts would have those creature comforts afforded.

I Went back a few years later figuring maybe their social skills and customer service improved, it was horrific again. I ended up buying all my new equipment from B&H online, no hassle. Went back for the first time today to look at the possibility of looking at their printing capabilities. At first, the older gentleman was very helpful assisting us with our question regarding pricing. We asked for a price sheet, unfortunately they didn't have one for clients or customers, just a sheet to show you over the counter. I asked, "may I take a picture of your pricing so I can have to review later?" He agreed, until his female co-worker overheard and took the sheet from him and rudely said, NO! They verbally tussled a bit in front of us and the lady got her way and did not allow for me to take a picture of the pricing of prints and sizes. She went on to say how expensive she is, repeating that several times rudely. She demeanor overall was combativeness and unhelpful. She made you not want to give her any business at all. This was typical of my previous experiences at Kaimuki Camera. Their lack of customer service, attitude, unfriendly disposition is off-putting to say the least. They do seem to have a decent printing operation, but I'm not willing to give this company my business based on this experience and all my other encounter with their staff. I would not recommend.

Despite having a scheduled time, we weren't seen until close to 4:00 PM. There was no clear organization in the line appointments and walk-ins were mixed together, and walk-ins were being taken before those with reservations. When our appointment time had already passed and we stepped forward to ask when we would be seen, we were criticized by others in line, which was uncomfortable and completely avoidable with proper line management. The most disappointing part was the actual interaction with Santa. There was little engagement with the kids, they weren't asked what they wanted for Christmas. This was especially frustrating since the reservation form specifically asks what your child wants for Christmas. What's the point of including that information if it's never used? We made an appointment expecting a smoother process and a more magical, personalized experience for our kids. Unfortunately, neither happened. Definitely not what we expected, especially during the holidays.
