Great location. Good prices. Friendly workers. My only real complaint is that on holidays they take a whole lot more time off! Example: this week, Thursday is Thanksgiving Day and they are closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday too! That's 5 days they will be closed. I have a PMB There. A post mailbox that I Rent from them because my cheap Landlord up the street, Nastri, won't put in a doorbell system!! I am constantly having to deal with the fact that they are closed much more than the Post Office! This week I have a few packages coming on Friday and I will have to wait till Monday afternoon! Shipped item with them on Friday and was told it would arrive Monday in Oklahoma. Took them 3 full days to get it from James St., Syracuse to Fedex in East Syracuse. Arrived late, late afternoon, almost evening on Monday and was shipped early Tuesday morning by Fedex. Not Fedex fault but PostNet. I will not use their shipping services again. read more

If you are shipping anything to China, drive right past Postnet on James St. in Syracuse and go to the USPS office down the street. I was quoted $186.00 to ship one cell phone to China, and the USPS down the street did it for $45.00!!! CRAZY!!!! read more

Probably the friendliest people in Eastwood! So much more convenient than going to the UPS store (I find them to be particularly unpleasant). If you don't know what PostNet does, they do "marketing solutions" for small business (printing, design work, etc.) but their big draw in my opinion is that they're also a package drop off point for all the major shippers. UPS, USPS, FedEx, done and done. As long as you have the packing slip on your package you're all set! Note: I don't know price ranges as I've only needed to drop off items that already had a label printed. I was only in there for 30 seconds and left with a free water bottle koozie, just for being a customer, I think it's a promo so this might not be the case for you if you're reading this in the distant future. read more

pretty useless trying to ship anything from here, as the price is gonna be 500x more expensive than just going to USPS down the street. also, call before you go because they aren't always open during their listed hours. and if you want a single black & white file printed, one sheet of paper gonna cost like $4. read more

I contacted Postnet on James about a week before Christmas. I informed Shelly that all of the other local print shops were telling me 2 weeks minimum for printing my wedding thank you cards and that I desperately wanted to get these out before the Christmas gatherings. She previewed my design and told me that they could quickly print them THAT DAY! I hurried over and the quality was absolutely beautiful! I also couldn't believe the money I had saved as compared to other local shops, Vistaprint, and Shutterfly! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me for Postnet! I could never thank them enough! I can't wait until I host the next shower/party to hire them to print my invitations! read more

Recently under new ownership, the quality of service here has become appalling. I recently had color copies printed for a client and was charged 35¢ per copy. When I asked if that was their standard price I was told: "I give wholesale prices .15 color copy on 20# copy paper when the increments are over 1K for copying. " I replied: "Hm so we were at 920 - meaning 80 more sheets would have been about half the price!" To which they answered: "Unfortunately yes." These guys are a joke. read more

I'm reposting this bc I think it's ridiculous that these guys have had the original post taken down. (So beware, their rating is excluding other negative reviews!) Original post: No wonder these guys are struggling and had to change management! They aren't going to stay in business for long if they keep treating customers the way I was treated. Last month, I paid for a 4X6 card and letter to my subscription box customers - I should have gone with an online printer, but I wanted the work ASAP, so I paid their $60 rush fee along with their $75 design fee. I was underwhelmed by the design work, although to be fair, I didn't give them a ton of guidance, and I realize that "please be creative" means a lot of things to a lot of people. It was, however, less involved than what I got from VistaPrint for $20 of design work. That's not the crummy part. I asked them for the unlocked design files so that I could edit the work for the next month. First, they sent me a bill, saying it's going to take them 40 min to put it into a format I can use. I mentioned this to the guy who referred me to them, and he brought it up later, so they finally sent the unlocked files to him, not me (unprofessional). However, apparently, even though these files are .ai, they're still not editable in Photoshop - so once again, I can't edit two v basic templates I paid $135 for (and something they don't mention before you hire them!) Also, if I wanted to have them drag and drop the new text into the templates, it would be an additional $45 + another $60 rush fee if I wanted a quick turnaround. The bottom line is that these guys aren't pricing according to industry standard (I found another Syracuse shop to do it for me without any rush fees by EOB today in literally one phone call - Syracuse BluePrint is EXCELLENT). They're the only printer in the world that doesn't seem to be worried about competition or online printing, since they take their competitive advantage (being local) and squander it, giving uncompetitive prices and then tacking on rush fees if you want your order any time before VistaPrint would have it to you.
