But their main drink of choice, as the name suggests, is wine. In addition, the shop is filled with other Grand Rapids-centered and Michigan-made items including salsa, cheese, interesting condiments, and gifts. I get the impression that when the owners find something they think is tasty, funny or whimsical, they bring it to their store. IE. The food, drink, and gift selection is a little bit random but with every item, there is a story, which the friendly staff easily offers up. When I stopped in last, it was close to closing time and the staff was having what appeared to be a wine and cheese paring party. I'm not sure if it was an actual publicized customer event, or they were just drinking wine in the middle of the day, but they eagerly offered some free drink samples to us as we shopped. The art gallery also housed several other ArtPrize pieces, but they function as a gallery all throughout the year. They also have a large gift shop that has lots of great items - art, art supplies/crafts, handmade items, apparel and accessories, and more. I'm looking forward to visiting again outside of ArtPrize! I'd love to see what kinds of events and exhibits they have throughout the year. There is plenty of street parking in the area.

Service was friendly, store layout was nice and compared to the first time I came which was closer to the pandemic era. the store was lively. They have adorable stickers, I got these beautiful sheers for my bouquet making needs, and they have a galore of gorgeous, luscious plants for such a small place. Did I mention they make their own soil mixes? I will definitely be back to upgrade some of my current plant's pots and soil :)

We had fun browsing all the nooks and crannies - there is a ton to see here. They have a slide that will take you down to the lower level - be careful as you can get going pretty fast! (There are also stairs if you'd rather not take the slide.) Nate and I wandered around for an hour looking at everything. I like that it's a nice mix of new and vintage. All the booths are nicely curated and organized, and I didn't feel claustrophobic or overwhelmed while browsing. I didn't end up buying anything on this visit, but I will definitely be back and Crow's Hold will be a go-to stop anytime I need a gift for myself or others. The only complaint I have is that it was a warm day and it didn't seem like they had a/c so it was a bit warm inside. They did have several fans running which helped a bit.
