They should have thrown these out instead of selling food that wasn't fit and ripping people off. I also asked the lady working in the vegetable stand if their produce was organic and she stated it wasn't. I won't buy any foods from the dirty dozen list unless they are organic. I am glad she was honest about it but I am not subjecting my loved ones to the risk of cancer because of pesticide laden food. I think all growers who care about their customers would be focusing on growing foods that are free of toxic pesticides.

There's a greenhouse full of flowers, plants and herbs. The general store looks like a clean barn full of produce and canned goods. Walking in, there's tons of flowers, plants and trees to choose from. Organized by color, along with annuals or perennials, this place literally has it all. My favorite part? the Volkswagen Bug in the middle of the store stuffed with flowers. I loved it! Prices here are a bit steep, but all their plants seem to be extremely healthy and they even have Proven Winners brand, which is excellent. Pots are stocked here, some designer, some standard terra cotta. Staff's knowledgeable and friendly as well. Bathrooms are at the front of the store and in great clean shape.

The food I had wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. I had a slice of cheese pizza, some jalapeño potato salad , some chocolates, and a gelato sample. Most of it was just pretty bland. The potato salad was the most disappointing part of my meal. I was also not a fan of their beer garden prices. Over 8 dollars for a draft is not great. Customer service here was also irritating as I watched the bartender walk all around while I waited. Maybe I tried the wrong items and like I said they have TONS of options. I would go back but mostly for the soup.

Free beer. I had Tangerine Space Machine while shopping. It's fun to check out the garden art, waterfalls, dragons, and dinosaurs. There is also a place to get lunch that has Italian sausages and delicious fries starting at $10. This place is HUGE so you may need a nosh at the independent food truck as you leave. Enjoy!
