The last 3 months I have had mail/packages not arrive. Twice the same company shipped my package, 1 must be MIA and the 2nd was delivered to another address. That person wrote Return to Sender instead of Wrong address (why carrier wouldn't check address and determine to correct beyond me) so that went back. Contacted company again had it sent to my sons house...arrived in a week! Amazing! Now I have a check that was to be delivered Saturday (nope), checked Monday (nope) called post office just to be told without a tracking number can not be helped. Problem now is I have to contact company to stop a payment and re-issue.....guess I have to have sent certified mail so I can track! I have gotten other mail in my box from different neighborhoods and driven to deliver myself to the correct home. read more

Either several mail handlers are incompetent or they are vindictive. Receiving other patron's mail for several years, complained enough so it finally stopped. Then started receiving multiple package tickets in po box but no package, happened on several occasions. Also received time sensitive certified/return receipt mail from federal agency in po box, should have been required to sign for it. They were busy so waited until the next time I was in the neighborhood, handed the the certified/return tag to the employee while asking them if they wanted me to sign the document. Indicating that I should have already signed for the mail. I agreed, signed and returned the receipt to the clerk. I hope I don't lose any important mail for stating that the facts. Either overworked, undertrained, poor attitude is reducing the level of service, I hope this can be fixed soon. read more

I ordered a poster, had it shipped from florida in protective tube for protection. The mail carrier for Bombay Woods thought it would be a good idea to bend, twist and fold this tube and jam it into my curbside mail box. It ruined the poster. Does the USPS train this level of stupidity? They want us to pay more for their services. Who is going to pay to replace my poster. I have another one coming, same method, that is one of a kind, cannot be replaced. I hope the mail carrier gets this feedback. read more

Poor Service I have been in this service area over 11 years. Never in my life have I experience such poor service. This has been since August 2018 several packagers have been missing. Postal employee whom ever are delivering mail leaving keys in box where our package are being left. Putting keys for package wrong # In my box now I'm unable to get package. Now as of November 6 I go to my box and my lock is change. Wasn't notified and go over to post office give information I wait a day or so still no one responded or called me back had to go over to find out what happen Supervisors of Morning shift he doesn't know why. This place is just terrible. I have opted in to get an email every day for the mail that Is coming to me and for some reason, i don't get half or any of the mail. Our mail doesn't even get here until nearly 4 or 5pm if we are lucky. Other times we will get mail that was supposed to be here three days ago and it will be soaking wet or torn up or god knows what. Today I called them to see what time our mail will be in our mailbox because I have an important document coming in and we were told 2pm....it is now 5pm and no mail and they are closed now until Monday. I wish there was other places that can deliver our mail because this is ridiculous. read more

8 days ago I had to mail two boxes to California to my Grandson. I asked if they could be there in two days, she said 'yes - we will send Priority Mail'. I asked if we could get a signature she said 'yes - I will request signature upon arrival'. Two days priority ended up getting there in 7 days and it was left in mailbox with no signature. When I went to Smyrna PO they told me to speak to the Post Master. He came out and when I asked for a refund he said "Call the number on the receipt" I asked why it took so long with no signing by receiver he said "we don't do that due to covid". I ask SO WHY DID YOU CHARGE ME IF YOU KNEW YOU DON'T DO THAT CAUSE OF COVID he said "call the number on the receipt" and walked away from my. I said I want an answer - why would you tell me yes it can get there in two days and charge me when you Knew it wouldn't due to covid? - he kept walking. I would have went to FEDEX or UPS if they told me they could not do it. BUT They took my money for express with NO intention to deliver on time. COVID COVID COVID this means you can take peoples money and do a sub-par job and get away with it and NOT have to answer a customers questions or complaint. Sad - if he worked a Real job, he would be reprimanded or written up as in-competent. read more
