A clown that works here parks like this daily, to include the busiest time of the year with the parking lot regularly at or close to full.

It's a post office. The staff all vary in friendliness but usually seems well enough staffed. It's a busy location for sure. I've come here too many times at different times of the day and found the same Mercedes taking up two spots, so clearly a clown works here that finds themselves rather special.

I received excellent customer service from post office worker Mike or Mark. Can't remember his name. He was very respectful and courteous.

When you go for Passport services, do they accept credit/debit for payment for their execution fees and photo fees? I know the fees for the passport have to be paid via check or money order but not the post offices fees.

This is correct, only the passport fees need to be check or money order.

I went in there to send a package internationally, which I have done countless of times before and never had any issues. This time the clerk typed in my customs form information and told me very rudely that they cannot send my package to Europe. I was so confused because I sent a package to the same person internationally last month and it got to them fine. So I asked why they couldn't because there's nothing inside the package that isn't allowed to be delivered. So the clerk got very starky at me and said "I SAID WE CANNOT SEND YOUR PACKAGE" then she turned over to her manager who was in the next counter and instead of the manager helping me, she also spoke very condescendingly to me and said "How many times do we need to explain to you that you can't send this out?". They both made me feel dumb and as if I couldn't understand English. The next day, I went to the post office at Fahm St with the same package, and it went by so smoothly and they were able to send the package out. Honestly, if you guys are going to keep being rude to your customers, then please do everyone else a favor and don't work at a customer service job.

I went to the post office that I used to mail my package to ascertain what could have happened since I paid $9.90 for priority mail and they stuck the sticker on my package. In an effort to not hold up the line, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager never came out and the explanation of why my package came back to me was "sometimes the postage comes off the package going through the machines in Jacksonville." I have never had that happen as long as I've been sending orders for my business. Mind you, there are precision cuts on my package on the back and along the side, but the tape I added when I sent it was still intact. I asked the lady about these cuts and she offered the same explanation that, "sometimes cuts like that happen when going through the machines." My complaints are about the dismissal by the "manager" and the lack of effort put forth to see what actually happened. She actually thought that I would try to remail it in the tattered package...wouldn't the exact same thing happened as last time? I am attaching "before and after" images of my package. I am convinced there was someone trying to view what was inside of my package and I will refrain from using USPS if I can help it; especially not the one on Montgomery St.

Every employee I have interacted with here has great customer service skills and creates a positive atmosphere from start to finish. There is a UPS store closer to me on Victory Dr, and the young blonde girl there is very sweet, but I keep coming back to this location because the overall energy and friendliness here truly stands out. You feel taken care of the moment you arrive which makes errands quick and pleasant instead of stressful. Highly recommend.

As I struggled to get it into the store, I was visibly huffing and puffing, and another customer was kind enough to open the door for me. I am intelligent, educated and well dressed woman. I assume was not the right complexion. Once inside, I stood in line feeling like I might pass out because the item was so heavy. There were two male attendants at the counter, and neither one offered any assistance, suggested a place where I could set the package down, or acknowledged that I was clearly struggling. For identification purposes, I want to mention, one was a silver haired man, the other was a male with black hair, piercing and tattoos, Instead, they both looked at me and offered no help until it was finally my turn. When I reached the counter, one employee looked past me and asked whether I was next, even though I had been standing there waiting. The other employee, whose line I was in, never properly acknowledged me and seemed to continue a conversation instead of helping me in a timely manner. I left feeling ignored, disrespected, and undervalued as a customer. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are visibly struggling with a heavy item. Whether it was poor customer service, age bias, or some other form of prejudice, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location. Customers deserve basic courtesy, respect, and assistance.

Haunted Square…read more There are 22 of these "Squares" in Savannah. Squares are like parks. One of them is Wright Square and it was one of the original four squares to be laid out in Savannah's Historic District. The Square is named Wright Square in honor of Sir James Wright, the last Royal Governor of (the Province of) Georgia. Two monuments reside on Wright Square. Not a military person but one of the monuments honor the life and achievements of a wealthy and influential railroad tycoon named William Washington Gordon I. Yup, there he stands in the center of Wright Square. The other memorial is that of Tomochichi, a Yamacraw Indian Chief. The memorial is actually a huge boulder of Georgia granite located in the Southeast side of the square in memory of Tomochichi. He assisted James Oglethorpe in the establishment of the Georgia colony and was buried in Wright Square in 1739. The ghost of Tomochichi (allegedly) still resides in Wright Square. Located on Bull Street between State and York Streets, bordered by courthouses and other historic buildings, it is one of the oldest of the City's squares... and haunted! But then most of Savannah is haunted like the true story of Alice Riley, the first woman to be sentenced to death in Savannah in the hanging tree! I always find it interesting to find out the history of these places! In the daytime it looks like a normal park... oh, if you only knew the haunted stories behind this Square. Review #1853
