You can sometimes park right outside, but most of the time, it's up around the corner on the estate close by. One other problem is the fact that as this post office is located close to an Industrial Estate, it appears to be well used by several companies, and one lady appears to be a fairly frequent visitor in the 4.30 to 5pm time slot with sometimes a huge amount of overseas mail! However, selling jiffy bags and other post office type things, and perhaps one of the most useful recent additions is the new cash point machine outside. This is the only cash point in Heamoor, so probably is pretty well used. It's always had money in it when I've been there though. Lots of little sweets for the young ones, but other than that, does exactly what it says on the tin!

The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful and can be relied upon for gathering information and giving pointers to the exact service that you require. The Post Office shares it premises with a Londis convenience store that is open to ten o'clock in the evening although the Post Office does not operate to these hours. Directly next-door is a collection point for parcels and recorded delivery items that you missed or for some reason were unable to collect from your front door at the time of delivery.
