Good God, this newsagents is messy. On first glance, it looks like someone broke in, but this is…read morehow it always looks. I really don't like this newsagent. Didn't anyone get the memo that stationers and newspaper magazine retailers are the new hangout for the hip and urban lifestyler? This place has terrible lighting, a carpet that looks like it hasn't been hoovered since '72, and a generally shabby look to it. As well as magazines, it has cards, stationary and sweets, that kind of thing. But still, even here it looks like they could only afford to shell out for the tacky cards and wrapping paper. I would head to Paperchase or Borders instead. The only reason I generally come here is because there is a post office at the back.

The few letters he actually did process in the end were bent and thrown into the sack, he refused to process them all though and now my customers are going to wonder where their mail is. AVOID

I've got so fed up with the long queues at the main post office on Stoke Newington High Street, that it's great to have found an alternative option. There were still queues here at Christmas, but it's a busy time of year, so it's to be expected. Nonetheless, there were two counters open and they were far more efficient and faster working than the slowcoaches who work at the speed of snails at the main post office. So the queue went quickly and I managed to catch the last post at the post box outside. Hooray! A welcome discovery.

I did not use the post office but the convenience store covers all the bases for quick bites. Sure the majority is junk food, but this is to be expected. He then questioned whether I had confirmation that the package had been received. I handed him the card and also told him I had been to the parcelforce depot an hour earlier and they had directed me here. He then went to look for the parcel and couldn't find it. He then told me to call customer services. I told him I was at the depot an hour ago and it was only then that he offered to help. I'm still standing here and I still don't have my parcel... Went to Kensington High street Post office to renew our expired passport today 10am 10/07/24. We were served by a gentileman (name Badge was Harinder). He also advised us not to travel with out a travel insurance, and to my wife about a life insurance for six pounds. We were very happy with the service. Now a days Super market to Hospitals are considering people as consumers. This gentleman treated us as a friend advised for our welfare. Thank you Harinder.

It's spacious, clean and bright, with a reasonably sized sales area selling stationery items - the queue goes through it, so you can browse while you are waiting. Service is pretty reasonable - the queues here don't seem too bad, and move fairly quickly, and the staff are generally friendly. Christmas is the exception though, when you may have to wait 15 minutes. It's always better first thing in the morning. Services include everything you'd expect from a large branch - Royal Mail, Licences, Bureau de Change, Insurance and various other offers from the Post Office (though these are mostly available online too). There's a bus stop just outside with a wide range of services.

I have used this post office many times and I can trust them to provide me with the correct service. The Post Office itself is located in a newsagents, so it can feel quite cramped when you are queuing there.
