I visited the post office in Lion Green Road. I found the service to be excellent on more than one occasion. One example of outstanding service was when I forgot to write fragile on a gift parcel I forwarded to the Isle of Man which I had already left at the post office. I rang up the manager at the post office from my home and she promised to do this for me. My parcel arrived in tact with fragile written all over it. The manager would have had to find the parcel and fish it out of the main bag for me. I was very impressed. The previous owners were not approachable or helpful so I avoided this post office at all times. This new team are always helpful and courteous. Now I will make a point of bringing my business there in future. Well done!! read more

There used to be a lovely couple who worked here for many years up until its recent take over. Now each visit is a nightmare. When asking for second class postage I am often deliberately oversold first class and always harassed to buy insurance, next day delivery, phone topups. This happens on every visit and just makes for an unpleasant experience. I know many people in Coulsdon make the effort to go to the PO in Upper Woodcote Village just to avoid here now. Overcharged!!!! Was told that the difference between 1st class and 2nd class was only 5p and encouraged to buy 1st class, which I foolishly did on their advice! On my return home, checked the prices on the royalmail website to see I had been outright lied to. The 2nd class was significantly cheaper and as a result I am left out of pocket. I use this Post office regularly even though it isn't my nearest. The staff are so helpful, friendly and efficient. My daughter recommended this P.O to me as she lives closeby and told me how efficient and helpful they are. Thank you Donna! read more
