My one complaint is that there isn't any vending machines so I had to wait in line just to buy a book of stamps. It would have been a lot quicker to buy them from a machine. It is a small but effective location, with a packing station, several work counters and shipping supplies. And it's very convenient to be in the RenCen, when you work there.

Recently, we had two packages marked as delivered on separate days, both noted as "given to an…read moreindividual." However, our camera footage shows the mail carrier scanned the packages but did not leave them at our residence. I spoke with a representative at the post office who took my information and said they would call me back, but I never received a follow-up--and the packages still have not arrived. I would have appreciated at least a return call acknowledging the packages were scanned incorrectly, along with a sincere apology. Additionally, we've noticed that our longtime mail carrier, who served our route for years, is no longer delivering our mail, and there have been several different carriers over the past few months. We sincerely hope all is well with our previous carrier they are truly missed. We never experienced any issues, and they were always polite and professional.

I don't know what kind of other things to talk about when it comes to mail. I walk in, drop my mail or a package off, I pay for it, I walk out and I'm good to go. My mail or package gets there early is a plus, but all in all I just need it to get there in a timely fashion or even if it's extremely backed up, I would just want the item to get there period.

When the DPD says you need something like that caprice doesnt bode well for one who dabbles in it. You follow the rules. I dreaded going to the Post Office. The one I usually go to on Livernois near Michigan is crowded and there are turtles that move faster than the lines do. So when I was out getting ice cream, I discovered this little branch. The walk from the bus stop was longer than I waited inside here. No lines, and the clerk was helpful in processing my request without batting an eye. It was so fast that I was able to catch the very next bus down Grand River. I was wholly impressed. As I said before, there are some hidden gems here in the D and this is one of them. If you need to mail something consider this branch. Lots of parking out front too. I even like the design of the building. That says something. The one thing that the government got right. If only Congress was like this we'd have a better time of things.

Three times now when I check the box to hold my mail that I would pick it up after my vacation they…read moredid not do it but instead delivered my mail on the last day of my expected vacation. On two occasions I came back several days later than projected. When I went to the post office to pick up my mail a male employee said he check and then told me I checked the box to deliver my mail on the last day of my projected vacation, which was a LIE. This third time, they included the card I filled out, which clearly stated that I would be picking up my mail. So with that documentation in hand, of which I scanned. I filed a formal complaint and will be talking to the Canton, MI Supervisor shortly, providing her a copy of the hold card and the complaint serial number.
