I work at a shoe store myself and when we get orders to ship out i always try to make sure it looks presentable and protected for shipping. I went into my local footlocker and they were super nice and helped me do an exchange to reorder the shoe in hopes it would come better. Got the second pair in today and its practically identical to the first pair i received just minus the scuff. I would go through the same process but honestly it would just end up with the same problem. Both times the shoe came from this warehouse. I wouldn't consider myself a sneaker head but i do take care of all my shoes and this is just something that i find unacceptable to receive.

The manager or cashier VICTORIA walked past me angrily and grabbed the candy and I said I'm sorry she just walked past me and didn't say anything and started to put the candy in another isle. I went up to her and I asked her if she was "OK?because she didn't say anything to me as I said I was sorry" her response was "I don't have to speak to you". I looked dumbfounded at her while another man heard this whole conversation from her and laughed at her for being so rude. I went up to her and said I needed to get one more thing and she argued with me that it doesn't matter if she's ok or not and that she doesn't have to speak to me at all. I wasn't rude or anything to her. I was really shocked and she knew that from my responses to her. She told me to never come back to the store again. She said there is 3 other DG in this town. I just don't understand why she was so angry. All I did was ask if she was ok? I am so upset. There was absolutely no reason for VICTORIA to act rude and tell a customer they don't have to speak to them at all in the store. I asked if she had another manager on duty and she said I could call the district manager his number is on the door. She acted like she didn't care if I called them. I went back in to get her name and she loudly and proudly said VICTORIA.

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion and understanding shown by the employees of the Junction City Dollar Tree today, Sunday, March 7, 2021. My 87 year old mother asked me to take her to Dollar Tree so she could buy me a birthday gift. She doesn't drive and doesn't get out of the house often She has Parkinson's and takes medication for breathing....that makes her need to use the restroom quite unexpectedly at times. When we asked to use the bathroom at Dollar Tree...we were told it's NOT open to the public. Now, had there been another store with an available bathroom nearby....or if my mom could walk fast...this wouldn't have been a problem. But since an "accident" was imminent and my mom was very distressed....and there were no other bathrooms within walking distance...I BEGGED the staff to allow her to use their bathroom (which prior to COVID, was open to guests). I explained her age and health status to them. Staff members got the Manager, who firmly refused to allow my Mom to use their bathroom....even though we were wearing Masks and her distress and age were quite evident. Maybe I'm too compassionate because I'm a nurse. Maybe I'm not being objective because it's my mother who was distressed. I hope the staff at the Dollar Tree in Junction City get the opportunity to experience the distress of being sick, old and asking for help...and not receiving help. TODAY was the LAST time I will ever go into the Dollar Tree in Junction City, Kansas.
