Horrible Experience - Ruined My Birthday Gift I do not…read morerecommend going here. I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment due to work. This visit was booked as a birthday gift, and I was expecting to get both my beard and hair done. Instead of being understanding, the barber was extremely rude, refused to provide the service, and still made me pay. Even though I explained the situation and agreed that I was late, he didn't offer any flexibility or courtesy--not even to just do my hair. He simply denied all services. This was a very unpleasant experience. I have never been treated so rudely by a service professional. Yes, I was late, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Terrible experience. I hope this doesn't happen to you.

I've been to Elliott's twice and had a varying experience in each visit in spite of seeing the same…read morebarber. The first time, I came away quite pleased, with a flattering skin fade and beard trim. The second, I gave the same directions but didn't really oversee the process, and the result wasn't what I'd hoped for. My fault, admittedly, but when I feel like I can delegate, sometimes I check out, and I wound up with a bit of a misadventure as a result, trying to fix my beard within a few weeks (and ultimately making the mistake of trimming the entire thing down and rediscovering my weak/double chin). The price is good - $25 for a cut - and like I said, the first time, which was closely supervised, I was pleased. The vibe is decidedly MAGA. An American flag by the door, wall decor, workers and clientele. I'm not overly uncomfortable with that, but it bears saying for those who might be put off. One big positive: it's right next to Dandy Donuts, which is a gem.

Alex was dope. This felt more like a consultation and design process for men's hair. He took time…read moreto understand my ideas, then carefully looked at my hair's natural structure, cowlicks, growth patterns, facial structure, and even my lifestyle to build a style that actually fits me. He created a clear vision for where my hair is now, where it can go, and how to maintain and style it long term. The attention to detail was on another level. Alex approaches hair like an artist, not someone rushing people through a chair. Guys, if you've never had someone truly analyze your hair and help you find a style that actually works for you, go see Alex at least once. It completely changes how you think about a haircut.
