Moderate priced, clean and limited polish selections. Considering there are 4-5 salons in a mile radius it would seem they could be a little more pleasant and spend a little more time with their service. And for a Saturday morning very few clients! I just went here for a simple manicure, you'd think no one could fuck that up well I came in with gel nail polish on and they didn't even soak it off like I asked... they filed part of it off and didn't even file the rest and simply painted over the rest of the gel nail polish so now all my nails are super bumpy and ugly. These high yelp reviews have got to be a joke. This place is horrible. I was next door at the hair salon and in need of a pedi so I decided to give this place a try ... Never again!! From the time I walked in I felt everything was rushed. As I was standing there looking at the nail colors my technician came over and was standing on top of me (so I quickly picked my color) and on we went. The pedicure in total lasted probably 25 minutes. She didn't cut my nails down like I had asked, barely got my old nail polish off till I asked her right before she was about to apply the new polish to try to remove the left over old polish. The massage was short and rushed too. While massaging my legs she asked if I wanted a 20 min massage... Ah no thanks! Then once I was done and sitting in the drying chair she massaged my back so hard it hurt. I paid $20 for a crap job and btw one of my pinky toe nails feels very sharp - had I noticed this while in the chair, I would have made her file it down. read more

Went today with my friend to get a $40.00 pedi each.As we went in we were rushed to pick a color sat in the chair. The women proceeded to give us a fake pedi I call it, barely cutting the nails and cuticles. Then slapping on microwaved lotion from a crappy bowl with that they only rubbed the calves and not the feet. Put on some nail polish and that was all of 18-20 min. It was rushed and not relaxing at all and there was no one waiting to be next. I asked Kevin if I could speak to him and he brushed me off sat back in his chair with his customers and ignored me. Then I asked who is the manager and he pointed the guy in the first chair near register. I said to him that was not happy with everything and it's not a cheap service $40 pedi shouldn't last 18-20 min. As he said no it lasted 30 min pointing to his cameras and then him and the others all started to talk in their language keeping their head down and being unapologetic and rude. They then yelled at us to leave as we already were halfway out the door. What a classless and unprofessional boss as well as poor maintained business! In dire need of a pedicure, I found Posh Nail Spa by accident. The salon is located in a strip mall along Route 6, next to a hair salon. I had very low expectations for what the salon would look and feel like, so when I entered I was completely surprised. There were endless Essie and OPI nail polishes (although they were lacking some of the new colors), a really clean and up-scale looking interior, and some of the most modern pedicure massage chairs that I've ever seen, with LCD screens and everything. I needed a manicure, pedicure, and lip wax and after picking my nail polish colors, was seated in one of these state-of-the-art pedicure chairs. An employee presented me with a bound book, which looks like a menu, of the pedicure options available. Rather than getting the normal $20 pedicure, the employee told me I should give one of the specialty spa pedicures a try, because they were offering a 20% off promotion. I could always use an extra 10 minute massage and exfoliation, so the Green Tea Pedicure it was! The pedicure was an extremely relaxing experience, although the massage lacked the extra "oomph" that I need to get the tightness and stiffness out of my calf muscles. Same goes for my manicure - the technician who did my nails was very meticulous, but the massage was a little weak. A young woman took care of the waxing and she did a better job than what I've experienced from other salons in the area (stray hairs, wax still all over the place). Because there are no "package deals", the cost of your spa visit can add up quickly. Before tip, I think I spent approximately $55. If you pay cash however, you receive a 10% discount. Be sure to get a business card from the salon - after 10 visits, you receive $10 off your next visit! read more

I've been to Posh twice now, once just for an eyebrow wax and the second time for a manicure and eyebrow wax. The manuicure (with quick dry top coat) was $11 and the wax was $8. With tip I paid $23. Higher than what I used to pay at the Beach Nail Salon by a few bucks, but totally worth it. Posh is clean and they only carry Essi and OPI and it doesn't appear to be diluted. Everything is brand spanking new and the staff is all super sweet. They even give a massage while your nails are drying. The pedicure chairs look aweome with little LCD screens and are also brand new. They also have a foot spa next door, but I haven't ventured over there yet. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 minutes to this salon. It's on par with the nicer mid-town nail salons in Manhattan but a few dollars cheaper. read more

So disappointed in this place. When it first opened years ago, I loved it. Then I got cut really badly. I vowed to never return. Well the other day I was desperate for a mani and eyebrow wax so I said why not give it another try. Mistake! The woman (no name tag) sat me down and got to work. No paper towel was put down. It took her all of like 8 minutes to do my manicure. No soak and no cuticle oil!!!! So rushed. Did the minimum amount of cutting and the polish is a mess. Luckily I chose a light color. I said if they couldn't take it not a problem, just to let me now, but what is the point of sending out coupons if they're going to have a fit when someone uses it? They finally told me I could only use it if I paid cash. I agreed. The girl was total rough, my nails are still sore because of how rough she was. I also told her twice to make my nails shorter and they're still too long. Best manicure I've had in the area so far, but a lot pricier too. They charge $23 for acrylic fills and charged me an extra $5 to repair one nail. I thought $28 was kind of steep for your basic acrylic fills, but at least I didn't have to deal with the constant sales pitch I've gotten at the other salons in the area. I also didn't have to deal with bleeding cuticles like I did at the other nearby salons! I'm not sure I would go there often though, since I can get regular acrylic fills for about $20 usually, but I would definitely recommend them if you don't mind the traffic on Route 6 in that area and if you want quality work and a low pressure environment! read more

Since I've started going here the staff had changed and with the exception of two technicians I found myself not completely satisfied with my gel fills and brow waxing as I should be. I'm very picky about my nails... and brows. As far as pedicures I am still very much enjoying Ada's pedicures so I will still be going to Posh for that. I waited two years to write a review. I've been to many salons since and I do have to admit that this place has gave me the worst manicure ever. The acrylic nails were so thick and long I thought it was a joke. The workers were very rude as well and they made it very obvious they were talking crap in another language when they picked up my finished manicure and laughed. All of my nails were uneven and when I told the nail tech, she told me it was my fingers, not my nails. Terrible nails, I ended up spending more money buying acetone and files to remove everything off from my nails. Waste of time and money.
