I absolutely love the experience at the Spa at Four Season Palm Beach. Not only is the experience…read moreextraordinary, but the actual massage was one of the best I've ever had. My therapist today was Laura, and she was incredible! Her strength was absolutely surprising, and she had an incredible rhythm that can put you to sleep. She was very thorough and explained the service I had chosen, she made sure to check in with how I was feeling, and then allowed me to truly disconnect and just enjoy the treatment. After my massage, I took advantage of the steam room and the showers. As expected, they provided anything you could ever need, from hair ties, to shaving and dental kits. It was an incredible way to spend my morning and after 4 hrs of being spoiled, I wished I had reserved a room there for the day so I could enjoy my time there even more.

The facilities are small but deliver. The steam room is super hot and large, although when I was there, only one person at a time was supposed to be in it due to Covid. Lucky for me, not a ton of people spend Christmas at a spa, so most of the time I was there, I had the steam room to myself. The whirlpool was way too tepid for my taste...heat it up! The showers were large and had some nice smelling shampoo, conditioner and soap. Although the soap was rather minty and irritated my sensitive skin a bit. The lounge area, both coed and women's were fully stocked with some of the tastiest snacks, tea and infused water. The massage room itself had this amazing blue lighting. It really made the massage extra relaxing. And the hydraulic table made lying on my back extra comfortable. It was able to conform to my body perfectly. My therapist was incredible! I have had more massages than I can count. Over 100, all over the world. Santa was must have thought I was very good this year, because the massage I received at Four Seasons Palm Beach was the best I've ever had. I don't say that lightly! Thank you Rosie! (I'm reluctant to give your name, you might get all booked up when I need you! Lol) She started the intake telling me what deep tissue was. Being that I'm a self-proclaimed massage officinodo and a massage therapist myself, I piped up exactly what I was looking for. Rosie was very professional and utilized her five-star training to allow me to express my needs and wants. She totally got that I wasn't new to this. And the best part, she delivered. I asked for a deep circulatory massage without a ton of elbows and trigger point work and she gave me this amazing, deep, full body massage extravaganza! It was only 50 mins but it felt like 2 hours! It was a massage that was smart and logical and every stroke made sense. The spa attendees were very gracious and present enough to be there when you needed, but not overbearing making you feel like you were getting in the way of their work. The spa boutique had lots of great skincare lines and some really pretty jewelry and candles/diffusers. And the front desk personal were very sweet and welcoming. Just walking through Four Seasons is relaxing. It's such a pretty hotel. And the complimentary valet parking was icing on the cake! What a great Christmas! Thank you!

That said, it's honestly shocking that a resort of this caliber still does not have a working gym. This was really unfortunate, especially since I was traveling with kids and couldn't easily leave the property to take advantage of the outside gyms they offer to cover. For a luxury resort, an on-site gym feels like a basic expectation. Overall, a wonderful stay in many ways, but the lack of a functional gym was a significant disappointment.

You couldn't even see it and was so cold. We had a grilled cheese sandwich that was good. That's why I gave it a one point. They never bought over teaspoons for the coffee nor salt nor ketchup for the fries. I had to get up several times to get the Waiter. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. We did express ourselves to Sterling a manager at the restaurant. Very nice and attentive manager. Just and I could be wrong but if I had local customers being so unsatisfied with the service and the food I have have at the least offered them a drink or dessert to say I apologize and come back again. But that is my opinion and good customer service. Ok. Enough. lol Happy New Year to everyone.

***Beware of Spa/Gift Certificate SCAM*** December 2024…read more I received a $2k+ gift certificate to be used at the spa for myself and sister while visiting Palm Beach as a Christmas gift. I was so excited to book services as we are both new moms and we were really looking forward to some self care and r&r. When I called to book an appointment for Sun, Jan 5 - I was told that the gift certificate could NOT be used unless we were staying on property. There was NO mention of blackout dates in the terms & conditions. Jan 5 is also on the edge of being a "holiday". Cmon. Also, The Breakers/spa failed to mention it when my husband purchased the gift. I understand the importance of prioritizing the guest experience who are staying on property. I was a Breakers bride and respect that. However, to NOT even disclose that information to people buying gift certificates during the holiday season is shady and not transparent. Predatory even. I spoke with Amy who is a Director and she said she could put me on a standby list. No thanks. We are requesting a refund and will take our spa dollars to the Eau Palm Beach Resort (which is supposed to have a MUCH better spa anyways). So disappointed in the Breakers. Poor form. Very uncharacteristic. Buyer beware.

4.5. This review is well overdue since it's been several years since I came here on a girls trip,…read morethough overall the experience was positive. We arrived on a Friday afternoon in June around 1:30pm, with appointments for 6 booked in advance with the spa about 1 month prior. The actual treatments started between 2:30-3pm, though we arrived earlier in advance based on the spa's directions and also bc we wanted to have time to spend in the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room prior to our treatments. The staff was very friendly and helpful at reception and after checking us in, started the afternoon with a candle-lighting ceremony to release our stresses and prepare for a restorative environment, followed by a tour of the facilities. We then got changed in the locker area and headed inside. They provided a glass of champagne at the time, and lounge areas to sit and relax while not in the jacuzzi area. Unfortunately it was raining outside when we went so we couldn't enjoy the garden area (I really wanted to try the swings, they looked fun lol), but our entire party agreed the service and experience was fabulous. They allowed us to individually pay for each service although we had made the total booking together. When we went maybe bc it was a weekday it wasn't too crowded, there were a couple parties that arrived after us. It didn't feel like we had to wait around for space to open up. I didn't order food here so can't comment on that. Sounds like they've enacted a no photography policy inside the spa since I visited, which makes sense given the sensitive nature of changing areas, and I've been to other spas since then where this is the case. I can see why it could be a privacy concern, and not everyone has the same level of discretion in what's posted online.

Also, they allow you to use all of the facilities the entire day, so keep that in mind. The massage was $240 plus tip and tax (FYI). They suggest you arrive 30-45 min early. This is because they want to give you a tour of the facilities and a glass of bubbles before your massage. We came to the resort early, but went to Pulpo for lunch. Anyway, they gave us candles to put in their little well to make a wish and showed us to the locker rooms. They have a their own restaurant, so you can order lunch in your robes if you like! The massage itself was okay. It seemed short, but the masseuse was extremely professional and very hospitable. However, the facilities are awesome. We enjoyed lounging outside on the swings and couches, the whirlpools and saunas and the comfortable relaxing massing chairs inside. The staff was also very friendly and kind!

They offer all the standards at the long sink area between soaps, deodorant, combs, and other needs. We enjoyed our massages that took all the stress out of us, especially me. The 60-minute massage was bliss. They also have a salt room that I would love to look into next time. As that looked interesting.
