BEWARE. Avoid this company. Theft. In March 2026 we hired Poseidon Marine (also operating as Poseidon Marine and Poseidon Plus) to service our two 2025 Sea-Doo Explorer Pro 230 jet skis. Finally on April 10, 2026, a mechanic came to our home to make the repairs: replacing the wear rings on both jet pumps. Typical maintenance. The mechanic sent to our home did not have the basic tools (like a vice or wrench) or to make the repair. Instead he said it could only be repaired back "at the shop." He took possession of both jet pump assemblies and some other related parts to go back to a workspace where they could be repaired. Later that day, April 10, we were informed by Poseidon that the repaired parts would be returned to us on June 9, 2026. YES, you read that correctly -- 60 days to finish the job. Since April 11, 2026, we have made more than three dozen phone calls, requesting the return of our property or an address where we could pick up our parts. Our calls have gone unanswered and our requests have been ignored. We speak with a receptionist who assures us we will get a return call but we have never received a return response. The parts they took include two jet pump assemblies and related components with a replacement value exceeding $1,800 each. Yep, you read that correctly, Poseidon has in essence "stolen" our parts totally almost $4,000. That's how they treat a paying customer. Not only are we missing two jet pump assembly we were charged and paid in full for repairs. During this same period, our credit card was charged multiple times under various merchant names associated with the business, including BoatRx Poseidon Marine, Poseidon Marine, and Poseidon Plus. This is what we've paid Poseidon to date: * March 24, 2026 - $19.97 * April 13, 2026 - $714.32 * April 13, 2026 - $495.47 * April 23, 2026 - $19.97 * May 26, 2026 - $19.97 These charges were paid in full for services not rendered on parts that were "stolen" from us. After weeks of unsuccessful attempts to communicate and recover our property, we were left with no choice but to send a formal certified CIVIL THEFT demand letter, dispute the charges with our credit card company, and pursue additional legal remedies. Every business can make mistakes. What matters is how they respond. In our experience, the most troubling issue was not the repair work itself--it was the complete lack of communication, failure to return calls, failure to provide updates, and failure to return property after repeated requests. Not only did we call the main phone number we attempted to reach the owners, Jeremy Davis and William Hunter Harris, by email and mail. If you are considering using this company, I strongly recommend you reconsider. Things happen but if you cannot count on basic customer service when issues arise you're putting yourself at great risk. Their communicated repair and return date of June 9, 2026 has now come and gone with no communication, no return calls, and failure to return our property. We took our skis to KM Cycle of Ft Walton and paid to have new pumps installed. Total repair bill, $5,000. Our hope is the law firm we've hired will have more success getting a response and potential customers understand the risks involved. If i could give a zero i would. They were supposed to do a pm service and replace steering cables on 2020 yamaha 242x. Gut got here 9am. Did service and a bunch of other inspection stuff i didn't ask for. Left for lunch 11:30. Came back at 1:30. Fiddled around with steering. Didn't know how to do it. Spent most of remaing day on phone or in his truck watching how to videos. Left at 5pm said he would be back tooorrow. He was physically on site for a total of 6 hours and screwed around and did nothing for 2.5 of those. They then proceed to bill me for 8.7 hours labor at $295 per hour. With part my bill was $4,100 and all I got was a pm service and my new steering cables still in the box. Both jobs completed should of been this much. Then to add insult to injury they say we will be back June 4th and still more charges to come. No thanks. I have the entire day on video and I was present. I am denying charges and will see how it plays out in arbitration or court. Don't use these guys Run away run away fast. Really no photos to post since he didn't do anything Follow up. 05/28 I made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails with absolutely zero response, but they sure can respond to a review quick.So I disputed the charge through my credit card. So unfortunately after doing all the math. I ened up paying over 3k for a pm service that would have cost 1300 at the dealership. So these guys ripped me off for about 2 grand. Lesson learned. The mechanic arrived at my home at 8 am on March 26, 2026, to repair my jet ski. After taking a few minutes to look at the problem, he suggested that he could cut an access hole in the back of my jet ski to allow him access. I of course refused this jury rig. To make a long story short. Not only was the bill amount a rip off, I was also charged a monthly $ 19.99 fee for a silver subscription which I never authorized. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!! I contacted Poseidon Marine when I noticed engine oil dripping into the canal during my vacation. I was told someone would quickly be arriving but I needed to sign the service agreement first, so I did as I was desperate to get back on the water. 5+ hours later a tech arrives after the scheduled time and before starting work, he decides to urinate in the parking lot. I share the video of engine oil leaking and he decided to randomly open my engine oil drain plug, and cause oil to leak all over. He uses the same washer to put it back in which is a big no. He meant to access the gear lube which he does next, but that not even the concern. He then pressure tests my lower unit which was fine, puts a little gear lube back in that dripped out, and puts the prop back in. He concludes he's not sure which took all of 20 minutes and I don't ask him to do anything else given he has no idea what he's doing. He then makes me wait 30 minutes while he does his "report" and in the mean time tries to pressure me into an inspection and sea trial, I assume to raise hours. I decide to put the boat back in the water after he left and he apparently frantically shows up to my Airbnb an Hour later demanding to know where the boat is, as he needs to check something. After 20+ missed calls from the company because I'm on the water, I call the tech back and he tells me he may have not tightened my oil drain plug. Turns out he did not and now I'm leaking engine oil excessively into the canal from my drain plug! I now have to do a full oil change to be safe because he once again had zero idea what he was doing. Here's the best part though, I get my invoice and it's for 2.5+ hours of work plus expensive parts that I did not need or use! The tech was here working for 20 minutes and yet fraudulently is trying to over charge me. I talked to customer service and was provided with a phone number and email to share my experience so they can look into it. 6+ days later zero response to any emails, calls or texts, which is the same experience as the other 1 star reviews. Contacted the sales rep who quoted me, she won't answer. Contacted customer service department who heard the issue and never called back despite their promise that they would (standard operating procedure it seems based on the other reviews). Emailed the billing department, no answer. Emailed another employee, no answer. Zero transparency, zero basis for the ridiculous invoice. Just good old financial fraud with a couple mechanics as a front. They also sent me an invoice to authorize for over $1,500 before they even did the work, which I immediately called about to cancel the job. They assured me that invoice was wrong. Then Poseidon turns around and adds $2,100 more to the invoice I said no to! Liars and scammers. Check out their better business bureau website for over 100 complaints in the last year and a laundry list of fraud and price gouging from customers. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Poseidon Mobile Marine. I was in a desperate situation because I was selling my boat the following morning and needed it repaired immediately. Unfortunately, I felt like I had no other option, and I believe the company took advantage of that. The pricing was outrageous. I was charged $295 just for the service call, plus a minimum labor charge of $295 per hour, even though the technician was at my house for approximately 15 minutes. To make matters worse, I later discovered that Poseidon had enrolled me in a membership program and had been charging me $19.97 per month for the last three months without my knowledge. When I called to question the charges, I was told the membership was what gave me a "discount" on the service call. A discount? Charging nearly $300 just to show up and another $295 minimum for labor hardly feels like a discount. I also spoke with David, who informed me that executive management had recently decided they would no longer refund these membership fees. That response was incredibly disappointing, especially since I never knowingly agreed to recurring monthly charges. To make matters even worse, the technician who came to my house admitted he was not a certified marine mechanic. He said he had only been doing this type of work for about a year and mentioned he was heading to another job he had never done before. The biggest frustration is that the repair they charged me for wasn't even what fixed the problem. My boyfriend suggested that the issue was likely a loose electrical connection. We disconnected and reconnected the wiring ourselves, and the boat immediately started working. The technician's work had nothing to do with the actual fix. I first contacted this business on Sunday, June 21, regarding my 2022 Sea-Doo Trixx after a spark plug snapped inside one of the cylinders. A mechanic came to inspect it and worked on it for 3 hours. He told me he needed to take the engine block back to the shop due to not having enough tools. Before he left with my engine block, I made one thing absolutely clear: I wanted an estimate before any work was performed. I specifically stated that if the repair exceeded six hours of labor, I did not want to move forward. There was no misunderstanding. Instead, without my knowledge, without my permission, and without my signature, my engine block was shipped out for repairs. To make matters worse, my credit card was charged for an amount I never authorized. Luckily, I was contacted by my bank. Then I was told there was a repair fee, and they would have to charge me 4 more hours to put the parts back together. After calling them for hours, without any clear reasoning to what they did eventually, I was told they had "lowered the price," as if reducing an unauthorized bill somehow made it acceptable. Now I am being told that they will not return my own property unless I pay for repairs that I never approved. They made the decision to perform the work without my consent, charged my card without authorization, and are now holding my engine block hostage until I pay for services I explicitly declined. I did everything I was supposed to do. I asked for an estimate. I set a clear spending limit. I never signed anything authorizing these repairs. Despite that, they chose to ignore my instructions, proceed anyway, and then demand payment while refusing to return what belongs to me. Billed 4h 18min for a 2-hour job. Zero warning about "waiting time" charges. I hired Poseidon in Miami for a mechanical service on my 25-foot boat. Here's exactly what happened: The mechanic arrived ( in late of 35 minutes ), replaced an ignition coil, performed a battery test, and ran a "Multi-Point Inspection" (MPI). The entire time he was physically on my boat was "under two hours". The coil swap itself took roughly "25 minutes". The MPI were completely pointless -- the boat had no electricity because the batteries were dead, so what exactly was being inspected for taking only photos ? After finishing the work, the mechanic "said goodbye and left". He did not say a single word about any additional charges, did not mention I was on the clock, and gave absolutely "no warning" that I would be billed for time spent waiting for a quote to change the battery Yet my invoice showed "4 hours and 18 minutes" of labor. When I called the office, their only excuse for the extra 2+ hours was that the mechanic was "waiting for my confirmation" to replace the batteries. This is a complete joke. I had already told their phone operator I wanted a "quote only" before the mechanic even walked off the boat. The mechanic left because the job I actually hired them for was done. I never authorized standby time. I was never informed that "waiting for a quote" would be charged at full labor rates. So let me be clear: I paid for "more than two extra hours" simply because their office took two hours to email me a battery quote I never approved. The mechanic was gone. The only coil was fixed. And they still charged me as if he were standing there with a wrench in his hand. When I challenged this over the phone, they had no real justification. Just the same weak excuse about "waiting for confirmation." That's not a policy -- that's a trap. Our experience with Poseidon Marine was extremely disappointing. A technician came to assess our boat, but no repairs or parts were installed. We were later charged over $1,000 without the authorization we were told would be required beforehand and were billed for several hours that we dispute. We made numerous attempts over the course of a week to resolve the issue directly with the company. Unfortunately, communication was poor, promised callbacks never happened, and several customer service interactions were rude and ended abruptly. After disputing the charge with our credit card company, we were threatened with legal action and told they would place a lien on our boat. We were willing to pay for the technician's actual assessment time, but we could not agree with the charges as billed. After this experience, we went back and read many other customer reviews describing concerns that were similar to ours. In our opinion, those reviews accurately reflected the experience we had. Agreed to 100 hour boat service at $1923 (average is 1400-2000) Informed he wasn't able to finish the job after 2 days (which is only an 8 hour job) however I was charged $1923 and then 2 days later, charged 3911. Spoke with company and stated I did not authorize the charge nor could they provide explanation on what that charge was for. Went to see the work they claimed to have completed on the motors and found one motors foot was completely cracked and the other motor will no longer crank. Motors are appx $60,000 each. Their practices are deceptive as I never saw an estimate or agreed to that amount. The charges are fraudulent at this point so now we are out the money they fraudulently took from my account plus they caused damage to my motors and i will have to pay more thousands to have them fixed. We called Poseidon Marine to repair the air conditioning on my 1982 Sea Ray. To save time, I had everything opened and ready for the repair. The tech arrived at 11:00 a.m. and after a few hours, the tech had to leave to pick up his license to purchase Freon. Three hours later he returned and flushed the system and charged it. I was charged $215 for the time he spent away from the boat in addition to the time he spent here. he left at 10:p.m. Two days later, the AC was not cooling again. I feel this tech was incompetent for the job he was assigned. When I called to report the problem , the company wanted to charge me the $215 service fee as well as $215 per hour. The person that came to service my engine was not a diesel mechanic. He was rushed because he said he had to get home to his sick wife. He tried to solve a port engine, electrical problem by cheating it to the starboard engine. I have since spoken with several professionals and they've all said that this was a very dangerous and horrible practice. And they were right. Both engines have electrical problems now, and we were lucky not to collide with other boats when we lost everything. I now have to pay someone to undo what they did and do it right. I was subsequently billed a $215 service call fee and charged labor at $215 per hour instead. I provided documentation supporting the quoted rate and no-service-call-fee agreement, but Poseidon Marine refused to honor its representations after a two-week review process. I also discovered recurring membership charges that I did not knowingly authorize. The membership language appeared only in fine print on an invoice for what I believed was a one-time service appointment. Stay FAR AWAY from this company. They are scam artists. I originally contacted Poseidon Marine through the contact form on their website to schedule a technician to diagnose why my boat wouldn't start. I explained to Luke (the only employee I ever spoke with by phone) that I believed it was a fuel line issue and wanted someone to inspect the boat, determine the problem, and then send me a quote if repairs were needed. I never authorize repairs before receiving an estimate. Instead, the technician came out, performed repairs without my approval, and my debit card was charged $1,323.31 on May 28. I wasn't happy that I wasn't contacted first, but I let it go because the boat appeared to be running again and I needed it operational so I could sell it. Ironically, a few days later I discovered the technician had left a funnel in my fuel tank. After it rained, water got into the tank and now the boat doesn't run again because of their negligence. The inspection report also mentioned my trailer needed wheel bearing and axle work. Shortly afterward, Poseidon scheduled another appointment on their own. I never approved trailer repairs. While I was away from my office, I received a text with an invoice for $769.23. I assumed it was an estimate because I had never approved the appointment or the work. I even replied asking for the appointment to NOT be scheduled and pressed "2" to cancel it, only to learn the work had already been completed and my card had already been charged. On June 7, I called Luke and specifically asked for an estimate for the remaining trailer repairs. He said he would send one, but he never did. Instead, I immediately received another copy of the same $769.23 invoice. Naturally, I believed that was the estimate for the next repair. Then on June 16, the technician returned and completed the axle repair. Without warning or approval, Poseidon charged my debit card $3,841.20. I was absolutely stunned. Had I known that repair would cost nearly $4,000, I would have never approved it. I was already hesitant about spending $769 on a trailer repair just so I could sell the boat. Instead, I ended up paying over $4,600 on trailer repairs alone for a trailer worth a fraction of that. In total, Poseidon charged me over $5,000 with little to no communication, no estimates, and no authorization before billing my debit card. I immediately tried contacting the company. I left four voicemail messages in 48 hours and never received a callback. I then emailed them with everything outlined above. Their response? They claimed everything was authorized. When I explained that I never approved these repairs, they ignored the technician leaving a funnel in my fuel tank and instead insisted I had "verbally authorized" all of the work. They even gave me names of employees they claimed I spoke with. The problem? I never spoke to those people. I checked my phone records, and there are no calls matching the dates and times they claimed. They also argued that simply opening or reading documents somehow counted as approval. That is absurd. I emailed them one final time explaining that none of these charges had actually been authorized, and they completely ghosted me. I am now pursuing legal action over both the negligent repair work and the unauthorized billing practices. I even had to cancel my debit card after they attempted to process another $20 charge after all of this. I'm sure the owner will respond claiming their "internal investigation" proved they did nothing wrong, just like they do under countless other negative reviews. At some point, a reputable company would stop blaming customers and fix the communication and billing issues that keep generating the same complaints. Poseidon Marine has chosen not to. Do yourself a favor: take your boat to a reputable local repair shop instead. Do not give Poseidon Marine access to your boat, your property, or your financial information. Zero stars. They are the absolute worst company. Fraudulent billing, nonresponsive when questioned and still didn't fix the issue after charging us roughly 3x what we agreed to. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Do not call these people to fix your boat they will rip you off, read all the reviews and how much they rip people off, they came out to do a 2-hour job to hook up one engine on my boat and look at the fault codes takes about an hour they took 8 hours and charge me $1,800 and they never did anything except for clear the codes, I have reverse charges on my credit card and I'm starting a lawsuit accusing them of fraud AND Then David the manager who won't call me back, responds with TOTAL LIES about the service. 1/2 hour for boat inspection, 1 1/2 hours for tech with zero experience takes to hook up cable to my engine, 1 1/2 hours to call the office and restart his computer.
