This place was a bit old school as mentioned by others since it was built in the 1950s, but the decor and architecture gives it a nostalgic, classic feel with a bit of charm. Looking through the guest book it was really cool to see past celebrities that had stayed here. I had to laugh when I saw Van Damme posing in the hotel lobby. They really did a wonderful job catering to us since we had a huge group and were probably paying a pretty penny, but I can give a few highlights that stood out: - Outdoor heated pool is incredible with a fairy-tale backdrop. It's basically an overflowing pool on an outdoor deck near a bar with the island of ischia and some of naples in the distance. I'll post a picture but it's really beautful. - Service is outstanding. If you have issues with anything in your room or need advice on local spots, ask the front desk. They're very friendly and accommodating. - Each room has a fairly large balcony and apparently some even have a jacuzzi out there, though I wasn't lucky enough to get one. Still, it's nice to crack open a bottle of wine and relax as you take in the view. - The restaurant is also top notch and you really can't go wrong with most items on the menu. While pasta is a no-brainer, I also thought the a few of the fish dishes were really good. As long as you're okay with a hotel that has a bit of a retro feel you'll love it here. Highly recommended. Most people, myself included, would not think to go to Ischia, especially if you haven't been to Rome, Florence, Venice, etc. But I must say this is a beautiful place and it's worth staying at the Regina Isabella.

After we enjoyed refreshing Prosecco and a delicious buffet meal. Every day staff greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. They remembered I like tea so always had hot water on the table along with Gluten free toast. The owner, Anna, is friendly, empathetic and professional. She cares and it shows throughout the hotel. My room happened to be my favourite colour, yellow, with the most amazing balcony and view, 4 nights just wasn't enough. Thank you to all who made my stay extraordinary. I can't wait to return!

They are located super close to the Castello Aragonese, and they have the most perfect view of the castle from the hotel. Their pool and beach situation is more than ideal for laying out and taking in the beautiful Mediterranean sea. They also have a rooftop gym and hot tub that we took full advantage of. We would love to come back, but are hoping to schedule more days than our most recent trip because we loved it so much. Recommend; the staff's service was above and beyond our expectations.

There are over 20 thermal pools ranging in different temperatures, which all sit in a vast property that sits right on the beach and alongside a beautiful hill. There are two restaurants available to guests to choose from and enjoy, a boutique to shop at, and spa that offers services like massages, facials, etc. I got myself a massage and it was great. I wish I could have spent longer at the resort to be able to check out all the different pools. I definitely recommend this place to others who plans to visit the island of Ischia... the only downfall is getting to the island for those who are prone to motion sickness. It is a 50 minute boat ride from Naples.

It was worth every cent and we totally enjoyed our day. The property is well kept and really pretty with all the plants. Everything was very clean. Prices in the cafe were reasonable. Only 2.50 for cappuccino so they weren't trying to take advantage of you. You do need a bathing cap for the pools but they sell them for $2.50. We enjoyed our day and would highly recommend.
