What an amazing hotel! Last May my son was married here. Everything was perfect. The set up for the ceremony provided the spectacular backdrop of the Castello Aragonese. After we enjoyed refreshing Prosecco and a delicious buffet meal. Every day staff greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. They remembered I like tea so always had hot water on the table along with Gluten free toast. The owner, Anna, is friendly, empathetic and professional. She cares and it shows throughout the hotel. My room happened to be my favourite colour, yellow, with the most amazing balcony and view, 4 nights just wasn't enough. Thank you to all who made my stay extraordinary. I can't wait to return! read more

Miramare e Castello hotel was easily one of our favorite hotels during our Italy travels in late September for our Honeymoon. They are located super close to the Castello Aragonese, and they have the most perfect view of the castle from the hotel. Their pool and beach situation is more than ideal for laying out and taking in the beautiful Mediterranean sea. They also have a rooftop gym and hot tub that we took full advantage of. We would love to come back, but are hoping to schedule more days than our most recent trip because we loved it so much. Recommend; the staff's service was above and beyond our expectations. read more
Amazing hotel! My wife and I spent a few days at Hotel Miramare e Castello in Ischia Ponte as part of our honeymoon. Our travel agent (Liberty Travel working in conjunction with Ciao Italy) put together the arrangements for us. Getting from the water taxi to the hotel was a bit dicey just trying to navigate the area and figure out what taxis were reliable. When we arrived we enjoyed breath taking views from the beaches and dock area. You have a beautiful view of the castle from anywhere outside the hotel. The rooms were a bit small but had all the essentials. This seemed to be typical of hotels all over Italy. We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet and dinner. You are able to eat inside or outside on the waterside. The service at the restaurants was excellent. Erico waited on us and not only gave us history of Ischia but made pleasant conversation with us throughout our stay. Giuseppe also waited on us a lot and he was very helpful too. The food was amazing. Most nights I had the fish specials as a main entrée but we were also treated to delicious appetizers too. Note too that there is another restaurant on the top of the hotel. This offers a breathtaking view of Ischia Ponte but also be aware that in our case it was not included with the package. Yet, the prices were comparable to a night out in the Tri-state area for those in the United States. We also ordered lunch a few times. You could get lunch delivered to your beach chair after 2:30PM. This menu had small bites like paninis and prosciutto and melon. Both delicious. These are not included but could be charged to your room. We also tried a few drinks. Besides the spritz, we ordered some of the daiquiris. They came with fun bananas shaped as dolphin. Really a great touch. The roof top of the hotel includes the restaurant as well as various spots to lounge. It also is home to the "gym" which is essentially free weights, spin bike, and TRX bands under a tent. This would be my only area to improve upon. Inside the hotel there is a large banquet hall which hosts the dinner and breakfasts. They also had live music during the dinners which really made it romantic. The lower area of the hotel is the spa area. This had a hot tub which had a special type of healing water. They also had a pool which was nice way to get out of the sun. On the beach there was plenty of seating. The beach was a bit short but seemed common for this area. There is also a dock which chairs that extends over the water with a ladder to go down into the water too. I would highly recommend this hotel. If you are coming from the States, this may be a bit more of a local option. It seemed that there were more European tourists than Americans. However, we felt totally fine. The staff speaks English and are very willing to help you for whatever you need. read more
