We booked the half day snorkeling excursion for the two of us and our four children (14, 12, 8, and 7) and it was a picture perfect day in the water. Both our guides were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, not to mention incredibly patient as they fitted each of us up and made sure that the youngest were safe and able to enjoy the snorkeling as much as the older ones. We rented Molly (21ft Switch) for one day and we had a blast! These boats are so much fun and great for the keys! We received an email the day before letting us know Molly would be ready the next day and also where to park, temperature, wind and seas information which was great and super helpful! Getting to the dock was easy, Thomas and Maryanne were there to greet us and help us with our bags which was wonderful. Thomas went over a little safety briefing and how everything works on the switch. We were thankful for a cooler with ice and a few drinks, as we forgot to buy ice for our cooler so that was great! After a few minutes, we were on our way! Returning back, Thomas and Maryanne were there to greet us again at the dock and help us offload our stuff. Everything ran smoothly and so easy and they were both so lovely to us! All in all, we had a great time and couldn't be happy with the service we received from Sandbarjetboats. Second, these guides know what gives the angler the best chance of catching a fish. Its their back yard!!!! If a guide tells you your best chance of catching a fish is a bonefish, as opposed to another species, then he is probably right. Sometimes tarpon fishing just isn't available. But when someone is working their butt off to catch you a fish and you complain about it, I would glare at you too.
