I was a long-time client and received color and extension services here about a year ago. My hair was bleached beyond what it could tolerate, causing severe breakage. Despite the damage, extensions were still installed without proper consultation, risk disclosure, or clear aftercare guidance. I followed professional maintenance practices--washing infrequently and using appropriate products--yet within three weeks the extensions became extremely dry, tangled, and visibly low quality. This was not due to misuse. When I returned with concerns, no attempt was made to correct the issue. I was charged for removal, and the damage required cutting my hair very short and going dark for over a year. I am still dealing with the effects today. What is especially disappointing is that much of the salon's clientele appears to be from the Hispanic community, including clients who may not speak English fluently or fully understand the risks involved. From my experience, services feel rushed, concerns are dismissed, and clients are treated as transactions rather than individuals. Professional cosmetology services are expected to meet state licensing and board standards related to consultation, chemical processing, and client safety. Based on my experience and similar stories shared within the community, there appears to be a pattern of unprofessional practices and preventable hair damage. Clients should document services carefully and advocate for themselves. If you value the health of your hair--especially for chemical or extension services--I strongly discourage going here and recommend choosing a provider who prioritizes consultation, transparency, and hair integrity. Lo más decepcionante es que gran parte de la clientela del salón parece ser de la comunidad hispana, incluyendo personas que quizá no dominan el inglés o no reciben información completa sobre los riesgos de estos servicios. En mi experiencia, los servicios se sienten apresurados, las preocupaciones se minimizan y los clientes son tratados como un número más en una silla.
