We paid almost $400 a night thinking we were getting a cooked breakfast. We got yogurt and bread , English muffins etc and juice and coffee . We ended up spending most of our time at tenaya a beautiful resort up the road which had a pool , spa , hot tub , and three restaurants for pretty much the same price . The only reason we didn't choose it instead was because of the breakfast which we ended up having to go out for and spend more money . The room was ok but nothing special . I tried to go back to booking .com to see if it mentioned a continental breakfast . If so, that's on me . But calling this a Bed and "breakfast " was very misleading!

I enjoyed the balcony, comfy bed, and clean bathroom. I found it beautiful that there are plenty of stellar jays flying over the B&B inn. There was sights of deers, butterflies, and many other creatures to see. The balcony also had comfy rocking chairs which gives a homey feeling. For breakfast there was only a bagel or pastry nothing else. If you're driving there are many restaurants and food places in the towns an hour before B&B inn, but after passing Oakhurst town there will be far drives to be able to go to marts or other food places.

The room was a good size, huge bathroom and little mini fridge. Double doors opened to the outside and we had the main door that opened to the hallway. Our room was at the very beginning so no noise at all. The AC was cool and the fan was quiet. We enjoyed the bed and breakfast concept and mingled with the other patrons while we were there. You like to watch cable in bed? yeah... every room comes with Satellite TV and flat screens. Like if this wasn't enough.. you have free wifi of course, a F1 grill if you like bbq'ing and a HUGE deck if you want to just sit down and stare at the beauty of the pine populated mountains. Super quiet place, clear skies... just 15 mins away from the entrance of Yosemite park. I think its a must to give this place a chance. Besides, Eddie the owner and host, its the most humble and most glowing soul you will ever meet, this guy puts his life and soul in this place and the whole energy of the cabin irradiates positivity and peace. He cares about making the experience for every single guest unique and special. The morning meal is all homemade by the B&B couple along with a snack for the day. It is all delicious! During your meal, you may see a pack of wild turkeys walk around. It is quiet, beautiful, and just an hour away from Yosemite. The town offers a great variety of restaurants to sample from. My favorite was 1850 offering a local brewery selection along with some really delicious food. You should try their mac and cheese. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area or hiking in Yosemite. :)

Overall, it's a good place to stay for convenience, cleanliness, and comfort, especially if you're planning to spend most of your time in Yosemite. Just don't expect a rich or varied breakfast.

I went to bed after a long relaxing bath, and woke up to the trees as my first view. Get dressed, put on my boots, got firewood, and put on a crappy pot of coffee so that I'm prepared to do nothing for the day. Point is, this place has personality; however, you feel free to be yourself. This place is not perfect, but it is great! It sleeps 6 people. Only 2 miles away from the southern entrance of Yosemite. Perfect for family & friends to disconnect from the busy life of the Silicon Valley and go out into the woods. You'll have to bring your own food and drinks, but the kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of equipments - an amateur home cook's dream! I had absolutely the best time here and definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to disconnect from the world for a brief moment and just breathe in some fresh air.

Rooms were dated but still perfectly nice - no AC, so if you come in the summer beware that it will only be a fan that saves you. Plan on about a 45min drive to the Yosemite Valley Village area. About 10min to Mariposa Grove area.
