I believe this is family owned business because there's a house on site and a couple of large dogs that occasionally run loose on the grounds. They have a young gal who "works" the desk and has absolutely no customer service skills - ignores customers and talks on her phone all day long. The grounds are unkempt and there are ants EVERYWHERE. It took us hours trying to get them off of our belongings when we left. Just terrible all around. Drive a few miles longer and find a more friendly and clean location.

It started bad and got worse. I read some of the previous reviews and was hoping they were just…read moresome "one offs" but I, unfortunately, was wrong. I called and spoke with Mike to get my original quote and it sounded reasonable. A couple of weeks before my move, I realized I hadn't gotten a time that the crew would show up on the day of the move so I called Mike to ask. Here came strike one, he couldn't find me on the calendar - even though I had a confirmation email. He'd called me back fairly quickly and said I was on another calendar or something to that effect. Day of the move comes and they start moving furniture, nothing gets wrapped in blankets even after asking. Expensive leather chairs are flipped on their side and have a metal hand truck shoved underneath them, and other pieces of furniture are just put into the truck with no padding at all. Granted, we were only moving 8 miles down the road but we were told everything would be wrapped in blankets. Strike two. When they got to the house, we saw the final packing job, things literally just thrown on top of other things and obviously shifted during the short ride over. The last and final strike, there were a few things that got damaged during the move, we were told by the lead mover that he had taken pictures and we'd hear from someone the following Monday, never heard from anyone. I finally called Mike to find out what they planned on doing about the broken items, he told me he was unaware there were any. He finally sent another guy, Ethan, out to asses and fix what he could. We have an 8 foot mirror that was not fixable. Ethan said he'd work with "Mike and Fred " and one of them would get back with me. I finally just gave up and told them we'd just scrap the mirror, I just didn't feel like getting the run around any more. Strike three. Save yourself a headache and just use someone else. One last thing, I do see where they respond to some reviews- regardless of what they say, everything is accurate in my review, they have zero credibility to refute anything here.

No customer service skills, lies, even when presented with evidence, calls names, try to belittle you and will attempt to act like he knows what he's doing. There was multiple times I wanted to ask "Mike, are you okay?" after his blowups. Ultimately, no one willing to take responsibly for poor installation. Jay Coker was much more helpful and apologetic for not only Mikes behavior, but also for how poorly our shed was installed. There's a reason no reviews are posted on their Facebook and website. I give 2 stars because the actual shed is not horrible.

The shipper, knowing the mattress weighed over 200 pounds, sent the mattress out with 2 men who clearly could not handle the task. They ended up leaving the mattress in the garage. The shipper notified me that to perform the delivery, they would need to send out 5 men at an additional cost which was outrageous. I'm 61 years old and deliver these mattresses all the time with the help of another semi-older guy. I went online looking for movers in the area and found Muscle Movers. I called and talked to Ken and he told me he was busy on another move. I explained my situation and he said he'd try to work it in. This was on a Thursday and he and one other man got the mattress out of the garage and into the customers home on Friday. His fee was more than reasonable and the fact that he extended himself like he did, I cannot express my gratitude. My customer was very pleased with his service which made me out to be a hero for getting this problem solved. Thank you Ken!

I received an email and phone call about who was coming out. I lucked out bc my appointment moved up to today which I really wanted anyway. Ethan and Zach were very professional and nice to talk too. I had a few areas I put my stuff at and they were fast loading. The bumper they put on the door frame was amazing because I had a couch that was pretty good size and with that on the door frame there wasn't any dents. Sorry no pictures but the service I received was 5 stars!!!

We hired Movertoo Chris and Shakila to get us back to our condo. They came to our home on the day and time agreed upon and did an assessment and walk through. The next day we received a quote. The quote was fair and reasonable. They provided boxes, tape, packing paper and wardrobe boxes They helped pack our belongings and delivered on time with care and speed, it was the easiest move we have ever experienced! They are conscientious hard working and good people. There were no hidden costs and they do a clean up as part of their service. Ryan and Nick were very professional, extremely proficient, and also friendly and pleasant. My husband and I packed our house in advance, but McCorquodale seemed to have great options for this service, as well, and Ryan and Nick were prepared in case we needed any last minute help packing stuff (like the TV). It took a little over 5 hours to move our 3bed/2bath house. Ryan and Nick did a wonderful job caring for our furniture, including taking apart, wrapping for protection, and re-assembling. I was a bit concerned about one of our bedroom suites fitting in the room we chose for it, but Ryan and Nick were very accommodating and told me not to worry about it, we could play around with options and if it wouldn't work they'd be happy to move it again into a different room. We were very happy with the service we received. Lisa was very helpful in providing a quote, answering (many) questions, and getting us all set up. Ryan and Nick had great teamwork and were very considerate of our belongings. We were also very happy with the price (especially considering other estimates we received). I did not at all feel like this company was trying to nickel-and-dime us. Of course, we saved money by packing up our house in advance, but we also had to spend a lot of our own time doing that, so it's really up to your priorities. I absolutely recommend McCorquodale Transfer.

Pieces of furniture were stacked on top of each other so damage occurred to both pieces. Mattresses were thrown in the truck with no protection and arrived filthy. Very little concern for our new home with scratches on the wall, corners chipped. Would definitely NOT recommend.
