Flaky, Tasty Empanadas - A Culinary Delight! I recently had the pleasure of savoring some of the most delightful empanadas, and I couldn't wait to share my thoughts! These empanadas are nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The first thing that struck me was the heavenly flakiness of the pastry. With every bite, there's a satisfying, buttery crunch that gives way to a warm and savory interior. It's like a party for your taste buds! The variety of fillings is truly impressive. From classic beef to chicken, cheese, and veggie options, there's something for everyone. Each filling is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It's evident that a lot of love and expertise goes into making these empanadas. What I appreciate most is their versatility. Whether enjoyed as a snack on the go or as a full meal, empanadas are always a hit. They're perfect for gatherings, picnics, or simply satisfying a craving for something delicious. In a world of culinary experiences, flaky, tasty empanadas stand out as a timeless and comforting treat. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and indulge in this mouthwatering delight. You won't be disappointed! The atmosphere is like a food hall. They also have a bar off to the side plenty of tables and good music in the background.

Don't forget the chimchurri sauce!

Let's put it this way--if you have an option to eat empanadas, why wouldn't you? Mama-Lau was the food truck of the day at our office, and it was a very welcome sight. The beef and pulled pork empanadas were excellent, but my banana and Nutella dessert stole the show. I'd absolutely recommend the chimchurri sauce for your meat filled empys. As for the dessert empanadas, I would suggest asking them to hold the whipped cream--that way, you can pick it up to eat it and not lose precious Nutella by cutting it with fork and knife. But, regardless of how you decide to down your empanadas, Mama-Lau is a tremendous lunch time choice!

Always looking for places that serve empanadas! So delish! Had the Pulled Pork and Spinach and there was so much flavor! And the Banana Nutella was a perfect sweet dessert! My only critique is that they could have been served hotter. Definitely going here a lot this summer at food truck rallies!

POSITIVES: Great local company, legit argentine empanadas. The sauces were awesome! (Golf sauce, chimichurri, and criolla). NEGATIVES: Pricey. It's $12 for 4 empanadas and 2 sauces. Hard to find the food truck. I know it's next to Start-Up crossing in Provo on Thurs. nights. They didn't have piononos (sponge cake with dulce de leche) PRICE: 3.49 per empanada, plus .50 sauces. RECOMMENDED: Bacon and gouda empanada was by far the best. They also have beef, chicken, bbq pork, vegetarian options, and a few dessert ones.

Best empanadas you can find here in Utah! Tried the pulled pork and beef, cannot go wrong with any! Totally worth a stop if you're nearby.

Sadly my empanada had a black hair in it :( and the guy serving was absolutely rude about it when I let him know.

I usually have to sit there while everyone else enjoys appetizers and dessert, but here I got the full experience, which honestly felt like a luxury. The setup is casual. You order at the counter and then wait for your food, but it still feels organized and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall customer service was great, which made the experience even better. For appetizers, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs and the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Both were really good. I had never tried deviled eggs with smoked salmon before, but it worked surprisingly well. The salmon didn't overpower the egg and added a really nice flavor. The artichoke dip was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. For my entrée, I had the Huckleberry Pork Tenderloin, and it was my favorite part of the meal. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the huckleberry sauce, but it completely won me over. It's that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, and I genuinely wished I could take a bottle home. I chose the Parmesan mashed potatoes with gravy and the green beans with bacon and onion as my sides. The mashed potatoes were good, though the gravy leaned a little too savory for my taste. The green beans, however, were excellent. The bacon added great texture and flavor. My husband ordered the Cold-Smoked Sous Vide Tri-Tip with green beans and sweet potato mash. I'm usually not a sweet potato person, but these were shockingly good. I'll probably get those next time. We were already full, but they had gluten-free dessert options, which I couldn't pass up. We took home the Huckleberry Chocolate Mousse and the Huckleberry Supreme Pie, and both were incredible. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite. We definitely overdid it... but I regret nothing. Being able to enjoy appetizers, a full meal, and dessert without worrying about gluten was such a treat. I'd absolutely recommend this place, especially if you're gluten free and tired of feeling limited when you go out to eat.

I was excited about the mushrooms with garlic and onion in the description. The chicken was so salty it was inedible. The only flavor profile was salt and smoke. None of the other flavors come through. In the 3 bites I gave it, one was mostly gristle. The funeral Potatoes are made with large chunks of potatoes that are not cooked through, like crunching on an apple, not cooked. The one thing that was edible were the mashed potatoes. My friend tried it as well and neither of us wanted to finish it. It pains me to hit post review, I don't like to be negative but I do need to be honest.

It took serious willpower to stop eating and go talk to our guests, and then I wanted to circle back. My mom still wants the chicken recipe, and not only the salmon and rolls, but the vegetables were amazing too! Second: since it was COVID, we had to switch from buffet-style to fully catered, which obviously is a price jump. Angela was so helpful and worked with us to modify the menu so we could get it to an acceptable price--and it was so reasonable. Her staff came and served the food. We were kind of running late ourselves, but they helped it run smoothly. She also recommended cheaper options for desserts, and made specialty cookies and delicious peach lemonade to match our theme! I'm so so glad we hired her. 100% would hire again, and will do so for our next catering need! *Unfortunately we didn't get many food pictures :( Here was the salad and drinks/table setup.

Catering by Bryce catered our conference for 75 people in Holladay and it was a great experience…read morefrom start to finish. Delicious food, top-notch service, and fair pricing. Bryce returned my call right away and was great at getting my event on the calendar and answering my questions about guests with food allergies. After my initial call, they recommended I come in for a free sampler which was very nice since I'd never tried their food before. The food is amazing - you can visit their storefront in West Jordan to have lunch with a limited menu of their catering options ($4 entrees, $2 sides, includes a fresh roll). Their restaurant is cozy and clean and tidy, with a small seating area in the back. They do a brisk lunch business on weekdays from 11am-2pm for the local business crowds and most people pick it up and eat elsewhere. For the sampler, we tried the Buttercrumb chicken, chicken cordon Bleu, Hawaiian shredded pork, lemon chicken, rice pilaf and red roasted potatoes - our favorites were the Buttercrumb, cordon Bleu, and the pork. We also ordered lunch so we could try a few more things - the chicken enchiladas are FULL of chicken and so yummy and rich, salad was nice and fresh and the dressings were delicious, and the rolls are soft and fluffy. They have an enormous catering selection, including buffets with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options from a variety of cuisines (including prime rib, lasagna, enchiladas, salmon, taco bar, BBQ, orange chicken, etc.) and all the add-ons (drinks, desserts, side dishes) you need. All their meals are served as self-serve buffets and include disposable plates, napkins, utensils, chaffing dishes and serving utensils, so these are great for more casual setups. The table cloth they bring is a black faux-cloth plastic but is nice for easy cleanup. You can use your own linens if you prefer. The only small glitches I experienced were some funny communication mishaps - i.e. I got an email from an employee asking me to call with my credit card, and the number I called had a full voicemail so I couldn't leave a message so we played phone tag for a few days. Not a big deal. For our event, we decided to serve the Buttercrumb chicken with mashed potatoes for lunch - which was so affordable at only $8.95/person. All catering includes fresh green salad with two house-made dressings (a vinaigrette that is also gluten-free, and a delicious house ranch), and fresh-baked rolls and butter. They also provided 5 servings of gluten-free chicken in a small chafing dish clearly labeled, which my attendees told me was delicious. I also had many attendees make a special note in our conference follow-up survey that they loved the food! I appreciated the clear pricing and options on the website so I could plan ahead for our budget. They are clear about tax, delivery fee, and base order requirements. The pricing is competitive with other companies but I think they offer larger portion sizes. We had a good amount of leftovers from the main dish, side, salad, and rolls, and I was glad nobody at my event left hungry. You can also opt to pick up and save yourself the delivery fee but the service of them setting up all the chafing dishes and utensils and plates, and then coming to pick up all their dishes after is totally worth paying for. The lady (Bryce's wife) who dropped off/picked up was prompt, came back right when she said she would, and was polite and friendly. She was setting up inside the conference room and was quiet and quick, a real professional. They told me when we ordered that we could keep the leftovers so we brought dishes/Ziplocs for that. Very pleased with the level of professionalism and quality of food from Catering by Bryce. We've already recommended them to others and will be happy to use them again for events in the future.

I cannot stress enough how grateful I am that we went with Catering By Bryce for our wedding…read more Everything was on time and it was so delicious! Everyone kept telling us how much they loved the meal. The greatest part was that it didn't taste like catered food!
