The pitch includes all the ways your home will be a health threat to you and your family, when you say you need to think about accepting their service- this person had the audacity to use my single mother status as manipulating tactic- they call their owner- and tell you they will repair your home, they are the cheapest, they will make sure you come out ahead, they handle the insurance and the rebuild! In my case, I was told my clean up was 1500. When my insurance adjuster came - restoration 1 only wanted to know how much it was for. They doctored quotes from contractors- leaving me with little for material and the need to leave out things like paint. They exceeded my budget- because they were pocketing my insurance check. The 1500 clean up? Turned into 3800 for 300 sq feet of minimal work. When I stopped my relationship with restoration 1 and got 3 quotes for every part of my restoration- o found they had increased bucketed costs 30% to 40%. I am so so blessed I stopped this scam and had honest contractors. My time looks brand new, 100% of the work was completed, with high quality material and license contractors. After my deductible- I still have 2700.00 left. I do not recommend this company.
