I had been assisting for about a year before I took the classes but I learned more from the classes than I learned from a whole year! They help you get internships and assistant jobs through their contacts..I have already worked for a few stylists on great jobs through them :) It's definitely worth it of you know styling is what you want to do.

Somehow two of my three looks "got lost" and I never received them. They took no accountability and told me that all photos that were taken should be included in the Dropbox but that wasn't the case. My looks were nowhere. Additionally, right after I brought this up to them I stopped receiving emails for internships and opportunities for their job board. It definitely wasn't a coincidence. They told me that I "unsubscribed" (which I didn't) and there was no way to re-add me back on the list.. doesn't even sound believable. I spent thousands of dollars and it was a waste. I don't even think this is a business anymore but if it is, steer clear :)

It's like a magical journey for my olfactory system and it's never a quick visit. Persephenie's shop is stocked with a dizzying array of resins, oils and scents. Her shelves display her eponymous line of body care and perfumes as well as essential oils, handcrafted jewelry and burners and Japanese and Indian incense. I have her full line of bodycare and perfumes and much to my husband's consternation, I am addicted. Her Rose Paka Healing Restorative Butter soothes my daughter's inflamed eczema. The Nanu Lei Bath Powder is a relaxing and calming indulgence for my sons. Island Violet is something I would take to a deserted island. I wear her perfumes daily, Leatherwood during the day and Datura at night. These perfumes are unlike all the commercial perfumes out there. The linger subtly, does not sour after a few hours and never cloying. The Bedouin is her all botanical perfume and is my daughter's favourite scent. And believe it or not, my boys wear Kildren regularly. Her shop is also a great place to stock up on incense and I am a huge fan of her handcrafted burners. And I am this close to getting a diffuser. This place has turned me into an aromaholic.

Its more than just a prestigious acting/theater/film school. Its therapy, life coaching, psychology, meditation, connecting mind and body. I have grown tremendously as a person and I handle situations that I should be drastically stressed over in a totally different manner. I'm discovering my instrument as well as discovering more things about myself. Progression, growth, bringing awareness to oneself about the simple yet phenomenal things that lie within us, finding your own path and success are just a few things that I have experienced my short time at the institute thus far. I have the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most extraordinary people from around the globe. I initially registered just for one full-time semester, but decided to continue on into the one year conservatory program mid-semester. TRULY AN AMAZING SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!! ***God bless the staff and all of us weirdos that are simply trying to find our path and understand who, what and why we are!*** ********************************HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL*******************************

This school's open approach to The Method and one that is kind. A far cry from usual acting schools, these awesome teaching staff members create a great environment where we are in safe and supportive learning mode. There is a focus on the body being fully relaxed as to access anything they need. The culture is amazing at relaxation exercises that Lee taught specifically to the chair was awesome and I loved being taught it here. From day one the fantastic Holly Hart taught us levels of awareness and how to name things in terms of boundaries. My teacher Anne DeSilvio reminded us that we are just on a leaning journey and take the pressure off of 'nailing it' every time. The on Camera class with Chris Prinzo is upbeat and his notes are constructive and always help. No matter what he has your best interest in heart and wants to see you connect to the emotions within the relationship of the characters, the scene and the exchange between both actors. We were lucky to be taught by two family members related to Lee Strasberg himself here. The fun Sasha Krane took us through a very smart, sharp and dynamic scene study and would sharpen identifying factors to quickly break down these with the script. David Strasberg is great to work with and gives a session that is packed with information and new ways to use old tools we might not have remembered or knew how to use before. He teaches a monthly drop-in class which I look forward to being a part of as well. Jenny at front desk sets the kind tone from day one onwards and no matter what my question was I never felt dumb. I was grateful to her opening the door for me randomly as I arrived earlier than ever each day due to LA Metro transit. Laura Cromer Director of Administration makes schedules & pumpkin pie and amount other things, has the kindest dog. Ashanay at the desk was a wonderful entity and I am glad I got to meet her in her final days in this kind position and wish her the best int he future. Lee Strasberg Institute meets you where you are as an artist and only build up so the experience can remain open to adjust and adapt easier. Their intensive was the best decision ive ever made since living in LA. I am looking forward to my continued study with this school in the future.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - GRACE DRIVING SCHOOL…read more I am truly grateful for my experience with Grace Driving School. From the moment I learned they were family-owned and had female driving instructors, I already felt confident I was making the right choice. The moment I read all the wonderful reviews--especially about how fantastic they are with younger drivers--I made an immediate decision to go with them. I didn't even bother looking for alternatives, and I'm so glad I didn't. What I loved most is their simplified, non-overwhelming teaching techniques. They know exactly how to meet you where you are. Mariam- the adopted Leo in particular, is incredibly systematic and intuitive. She adjusts the learning style based on what works best for you. I'm a visual learner, and she would literally draw things out so I could clearly understand the concepts. That meant so much to me. And Manuel, The Zen Master -- hands down the most patient man I've ever encountered... and that's with me driving! His calm demeanor, steady guidance, and genuine care make you feel safe, supported, and capable. They set you up for success, step by step. I am truly honored to have been one of their students. The experience was absolutely worth it, and I can't recommend them enough. Humbled to be their student. If you're looking for driving lessons, don't think twice--enroll with Grace Driving School. You will be in the best hands.

I found them through a friend who did a voiceover workshop there, and I am so grateful I did! The acting coach, Joe Salazar, really takes an individualistic approach toward each actor, learning more about them with each class and allowing them to develop in a way that works best for them rather than using a more blanketed or singular approach. He delves into each characters' truths, guides you through building the world in a scene, and understanding what your characters are fighting for. Joe is phenomenal, and one thing I especially appreciated was that he knew how to support you without coddling you and critic you without discouraging you. He and this actor's haven are truly a hidden gem. This is not the type of acting class where you can get by doing only 50% of the work. He expects a lot out of the actors that come in and does not shy away from challenges that ultimately help you realize your potential. I would recommend anyone who is serious about acting to check out The Actors Company.
