Flaky, Tasty Empanadas - A Culinary Delight! I recently had the pleasure of savoring some of the most delightful empanadas, and I couldn't wait to share my thoughts! These empanadas are nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The first thing that struck me was the heavenly flakiness of the pastry. With every bite, there's a satisfying, buttery crunch that gives way to a warm and savory interior. It's like a party for your taste buds! The variety of fillings is truly impressive. From classic beef to chicken, cheese, and veggie options, there's something for everyone. Each filling is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It's evident that a lot of love and expertise goes into making these empanadas. What I appreciate most is their versatility. Whether enjoyed as a snack on the go or as a full meal, empanadas are always a hit. They're perfect for gatherings, picnics, or simply satisfying a craving for something delicious. In a world of culinary experiences, flaky, tasty empanadas stand out as a timeless and comforting treat. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and indulge in this mouthwatering delight. You won't be disappointed! The atmosphere is like a food hall. They also have a bar off to the side plenty of tables and good music in the background.

Don't forget the chimchurri sauce!

Let's put it this way--if you have an option to eat empanadas, why wouldn't you? Mama-Lau was the food truck of the day at our office, and it was a very welcome sight. The beef and pulled pork empanadas were excellent, but my banana and Nutella dessert stole the show. I'd absolutely recommend the chimchurri sauce for your meat filled empys. As for the dessert empanadas, I would suggest asking them to hold the whipped cream--that way, you can pick it up to eat it and not lose precious Nutella by cutting it with fork and knife. But, regardless of how you decide to down your empanadas, Mama-Lau is a tremendous lunch time choice!

Always looking for places that serve empanadas! So delish! Had the Pulled Pork and Spinach and there was so much flavor! And the Banana Nutella was a perfect sweet dessert! My only critique is that they could have been served hotter. Definitely going here a lot this summer at food truck rallies!

POSITIVES: Great local company, legit argentine empanadas. The sauces were awesome! (Golf sauce, chimichurri, and criolla). NEGATIVES: Pricey. It's $12 for 4 empanadas and 2 sauces. Hard to find the food truck. I know it's next to Start-Up crossing in Provo on Thurs. nights. They didn't have piononos (sponge cake with dulce de leche) PRICE: 3.49 per empanada, plus .50 sauces. RECOMMENDED: Bacon and gouda empanada was by far the best. They also have beef, chicken, bbq pork, vegetarian options, and a few dessert ones.

Best empanadas you can find here in Utah! Tried the pulled pork and beef, cannot go wrong with any! Totally worth a stop if you're nearby.

Sadly my empanada had a black hair in it :( and the guy serving was absolutely rude about it when I let him know.

Best empanadas I've ever had. Perfectly made. It is quite pricey but they are also surprisingly filling so it's worth it!

I came originally having had arepas and empanadas elsewhere in the Venezuelan style, and have since been introduced to other items such as cachapas. Everything is good, and portions are plentiful. Food can take a smidge on the longer side so pick up some of their cane sugar lemonade to sip while you wait.a Food: Yucca fries and crispy pork - Great sharing app that lives up to its description. Both the yucca and pork were delightfully crispy and served with delicious sauces including an amazing garlic toum-like paste. 5/5 Pabellon plate - Everything on this plate was great. The black beans were flavorful and still had some bite (i.e. made from dried beans and not canned). The shredded beef was tender and savory, the juices soak into the rice which makes it so delicious. Highly recommended. 5/5 Patacon with steak - Never had this before but it's basically a sweet corn bread stuffed with copious mozarella cheese and legit cubed steak that was perfectly cooked. 4.5/5 (mostly because i'm not a huge fan of sweet and savory) Overall this place lives up to the hype, I legitimately have no complaints and would come back in a heartbeat. Seriously, give it a try if you haven't yet.

I tried the beef empanada and really enjoyed the flavorful filling. The pastry was light, flaky, and perfectly crisp. They also had a great selection of bottled drinks, so I tried a traditional purple corn drink. It was sweet, lightly spiced, and unlike anything I'd had before. It was a fun addition to the meal. The shop was very clean with cute décor, although seating is somewhat limited. The staff were friendly, gave great recommendations, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

There are a few spaces out front, which you end up having to back out into the main road, so be careful! There are some spots in the back lot, but trying to get out is a tight squeeze. I ended up parking across the street in the neighborhood and making my way to the crosswalk and over. The space inside is tight too. There isn't much sitting space; just a long bench with maybe 5 seats if you're trying to dine in. But it is a cute space, and the empanadas are worth the visit. I tried the chicken Gallina and chicken empanadas (savory) and got the applie pie and peach empanadas for dessert. I loved both of my savory empanadas!!!!! Omg I want to come in and try all the flavors. Both dessert empanadas were great, but the apple pie was my fave with the extra crunch on top. Oh my... I was in heaven! I will also say that the hours are a little wonky and it's hard to make it on time, if you're commuting, but worth it! The hours they keep are due to sometimes being at different markets. But overall I loved my experience and will be back for more!
