No stars on thars…read more I find this location fairly inconvenient, and their services are much more expensive than UPS or USPS so I only mail things via FedEx when I absolutely have to (AKA today's visit which was mailing something to my employer who had sent me a FedEx return form). That said, my experience here was quick and the service relatively pleasant. The person in front of me with mailing a shoe box size package somewhere via FedEx's overnight service. His bill came to almost $80. He walked out the door, walked back in and asked whether she'd applied his discount, and she said that yes, that was the price after the discount. I seriously considered asking him where he was mailing it to because if it was anywhere in Michigan he could pay me that much and I'd drive it there personally.

The person who was supposed to come to my house told me to have 2 photo IDs ready AND a voided check from my bank account so they could provide it to the lender. I found this odd as I have done remote closings in the past and this was never required. The attorney handling the closing already had my information to wire the money to me. So I called my attorney and was informed that I was correct to be suspicious as this is NOT information the notary needs access to and the buyer's lender already HAD the information to wire my funds. There was also a BIG red flag in the text messages....the notary texted like a teenager. "Ur" for your, poor grammar and no knowledge of punctuation. Completely unprofessional. So, beware and do NOT give them any personal information other than the document and proof of who you are as that is ALL they need.
